Congrats to Ranger Grad
@DemarioMccall
on continuing his football career with the Chicago Bears. Good luck and your hometown will be rooting for you!
Some individual accolades that are worth mentioning today from last nights game. Andrew Ennis tied the longest TD run in school history with a 95 yarder. Bella Antonio recorded the first tackle by a female in school history. She was also 6/6 for PAT.
Through the first 4 weeks we have exceeded our win total from last year with a 4-0 start. This is the first 4-0 start since 2009 when the Rangers started 5-0. Tough conference play ahead for our young squad but we are not satisfied yet!
With the win tonight, the Rangers tied their best record since 2009. They also earned the first home playoff game in school history.
Exciting times in the small/big town of North Ridgeville!
Still hungry for more.
We would like to welcome Carl Roberts to the North Ridgeville football family. Coach Roberts graduated from Glenville High School and played at the University of Michigan for 2 years until he was injured. He will be helping with the offensive and defensive linemen. Welcome Coach!
Hey Ranger Nation! The sun still came up this morning and you still have a 4-2 football team! We will continue to get better and finish this year strong!
Great day of competition last night as the Rangers hosted Lorain and Columbia. We finished the night with a great talk from
@CoachCreel
about how football is great and we all need each other. Good luck to both teams this year. Time to go back to work and improve before August!
Meet the Coaches! Today we introduce a man who needs no introduction. Willy Hedberg will be our defensive live coach. Willy is a ‘15 NR grad and played football at Baldwin Wallace University for 4 years. Glad to have this guy back on staff!
@grebdehylliw
What a great playoff atmosphere last night! Our young guys got a taste of what it’s all about making them hungry to get back. We also got to send the seniors off with something they can be proud of. Time to reflect, rest, and prepare for 2023!
One of our core values is COMMUNITY. Our HS Rangers took time to say “hi” to the young Rangers this morning. We have great kids that come from great families.
***Record Alert***
@Andrew_Flesh97
started his 42nd game on Friday night. This is now the record for career starts. No player in NRHS history has ever had the opportunity to start 42 games in their career!
Tomorrow is senior night and we get the pleasure of honoring these 15 young men! Another group that decided to play the game they love when it wasn’t easy to. Each one will leave their mark on this program when the season is over.
In our rebuild we need to enjoy milestones to realize our progress. With this win our varsity team will have the first non losing regular season in 6 years. We aren’t satisfied yet though.
No coaches reveal party/event, but we are still extremely excited to announce that Hall of Fame coach Kevin Fell will be joining the North Ridgeville staff next year as our Offensive Line coach!
Come on out and celebrate the careers of our ‘24 seniors this week as we take on Amherst at home!
They are a great group of young men who have done a lot for our program.
Whenever they take their last snap for the Rangers, they will be missed but never forgotten.
To have a little fun and because we miss these guys, we are going to do a count down to Christmas with some look a likes with Christmas Characters. Is that
@AustinDeShazo_
or Scott Farkus from the Christmas story?! Each day we will give you a new one!

Thanks to
@CoachHowellsWFB
for speaking to the Rangers about his conference championship senior season that ended with a win over Grafton in ‘05. He’s a proud alumni and the boys heard again what this game means to our community. Beautiful night for a practice under the lights
Friday nights in NEO are sacred. Our 5th and 6th graders got a close up look at what they are all about!
Thanks to cheerleaders, band, parents, community, workers, and everyone else that helps make them so special.

1st day of official off season lifting started today for our incoming 9th graders. How can you tell culture? When your alumni and upper classmen take time to show the future how to do things the right way. We are proud of the men we produce!
@dainbartlebaugh
The best way to end camp!
@dainbar54
with a great message about how special it is to be a Ranger and to make the best of the time you have in HS football because it goes fast… and just like that, Camp ‘22 is in the books!
The North Ridgeville football team had another great Saturday morning! 60+ Rangers got up early to work on speed and agility. Also the seniors are 2-0 in competitions!
@JDRadwayii

Not a huge milestone for some schools but seeing 3 digits on the Final Forms roster is a big step in the right direction for the Rangers. We keep working everyday to make sure these 100 love their program.
Ever wonder what happened to the kid from Bad Santa? He grew up and became the Center for the NR Rangers!
@mitchwaugs
is featured on Day 6 of the Christmas Look a Likes.
Meet the Coaches! Another familiar face today with NRHS English teacher, Karl Roshong. Karl played all 4 years at John Carroll University and has helped coach the WRs and punters for 5 years at NR. He’s a great role model for our young men
@MrRoshongNRHS
Our thoughts are with
@ElyriaAthletics
and the entire Elyria community with the news of their loss today. The Ranger Football program is here to support you any way we can.
1,000 lbs. Club Members that play skill positions are special. Yesterday we had another join the club.

Very proud of the Rangers tonight. They fought and had fun. The seniors led us all night and showed the young Rangers the pride we have been talking about since day 1. Sad to see this season come to an end but excited for the future. Go Rangers
Nothing but coal in your stocking this year if you don’t know what your blocking assignments are! Day 2 of our Christmas look a likes belongs to coach Laveen and Winterbolt!
Glad to honor our ‘22 class tonight with a special dinner. Thanks to the parents that helped make it a great memory. Tomorrow is their last game at Ranger stadium. This is a special group.
Summer Workout
#1
- we hear a lot of people say that “this generation is soft.” After what I saw today in our gym/weight room, I don’t believe it. Toughness isn’t always learned through hitting drills. It’s a mentality built through work that’s difficult and that most won’t do!
@JDRadwayii
has been in the 1,000 lbs. Club before, but this semester he became the program’s strongest player since we started tracking 13 years ago.
