April 7th marks the beginning of the commemoration of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. As the world joins Rwanda during this period, we’re reminded to continue fighting genocide ideology, denial & hate speech, paving 4 sustainable peace & harmony in our communities
#Kwibuka28
Today we commemorate the 26th anniversary of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. During this commemoration period, we honor the memory of the victims, comfort the survivors, continue the fight against genocide ideology and renew our commitment to ‘Never Again’.

On behalf of all the colleagues at Never Again Rwanda, we share our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of our former colleague, Odeth Kantengwa. May her soul rest in peace.
#Genocide
denial weakens society's ability to prevent atrocities. It rips survivors of both justice and healing, and it hampers the fight against violent conflicts and the possibility of reconciliation.
Taking action against genocide denial requires collective responsibility.
Today Never Again Rwanda joins all Rwandans and the rest of the world in remembering the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. We reiterate the commitment to fighting genocide ideology and to ensure that Genocide never happens again. “Remember – Unite – Renew.”
#Kwibuka27
Today, we remember and honor the sacrifice.
Today, we talk of the strength and resilience.
Today, we celebrate the bravery and heroic acts.
Today, we all pledge to love the country and contribute to its unity and peace.
