By the way, Jacaranda beach Watamu is super clean and the beach boys do a sweep daily. You'll gaze into this whiteness for hours, you can walk in two hours during the low tide and ain't no one bothering you. Took amateur phone pics yesterday, no filter and looks like a painting.

Be cautious about things "that have money". Like your friend told you hardware iko na pesa, importing clothes, selling bags or shoes has money. You can go to China or buy a bale and pigwa na butwaa ukingoja jackpot. Do what you know. Start small. Don't go all in round one.

There are businesses that only make financial sense if the owner is the operator or has domain experience. Like an Uber car. If you buy one, drive it to learn and understand. Most people don't make enough to service car loan, pay driver and maintenance. Or a butchery.

If you have 50K to spend on a holiday, you should at least have 20-30% of it as pocket money after you've paid for transport & accommodation to eat out, add on activities, shop, explore attractions in the destination, and for emergencies/treats. So your budget is 35K max not 50K.

If you're going to Diani or Watamu connecting with SGR to coast, just fly if flights aren't that expensive. You can't compare that time, hustle to and from SGR stations and the back breaking journey in that economy class. You're going on holiday and deserve the convenience.

No one could have foreseen this. A month ago hotels were fully booked over Valentine's weekend and 30 days later someone tells you they've been sent out on unpaid leave. I think people will come out of this completely different managers and individuals.

I was at the Getaway Tourism Expo on Sunday and some hotels were fully booked over Easter weekend. Airlines we're adding flights to meet demand. One of my fav beach resorts had a reopening cocktail on Thursday after a year. Tour operators were banking on the long weekend. Poleni
