I immediately proposed a TV debate with @sajidjavid as part of the election process. However, it now appears that for all his bluster and bravado he's doing all he possibly can to wriggle out of any debate. If he doesn't sign up, I suggest that the broadcasters empty chair him.

Yesterday I lost my @NBBCouncil seat by 5 votes. I’ll pick over the reasons why at some point but national picture played a large part. I got the biggest cheers of the day & see the usual crowd are celebrating my loss. Funny though, one door closing has led to several opening 😉
