Quite poignant that this time last year I passed my final placement on PGDE to become a teacher and today I passed my HT and final observation that gets me to full registration(just couple admin things to go!)… let’s hope there is a job for me at the end of it all! 🥳🥳🥳

Day 1 of placement over and I survived! To be honest I didn’t even want to leave! The class and the school were amazing! So much focus to each and every child with children’s rights at the centre of their learning. Roll on tomorrow to see all the amazing faces in my class ☺️

Enjoyed the #Jackandthebeanstalk pantomime by @HopscotchTC at my wee one’s Beavers club last night. The student teacher in me thoroughly enjoyed the use of expressive arts to bring in other curricular areas such as STEM! Will be sharing this with other @PgdeUws students ☺️

Started Ramadan today and I am so proud of the children in my school. LCSC children were learning about Ramadan and one child asked me if I was Ramadaning which I found an awesome word to describe the experience of fasting.

My heart was so filled this week listening to all the children talk about BHM during their presentations! Some chose to speak about Rosa Parks and MLK, couple kids talked about Marcus Rashford and one spoke about Muhammad Ali and another about George Washington Carver!

First stay and learn in class today where the parents and carers came in to learn with their children. Active learn all the way with French games and songs. Adults won one of the games so the children now have to do the household chores for the week 😂
