No time for racists and bigots.
Tweets may include BCFC, 49ers, music, politics, motorbikes and shite jokes. A liberal wanting equality. Woke is a compliment
People who are saying Joe Lycett shouldn't bring politics into sport need up go back to school and do some learning about the Commonwealth and then read up on politics and sport.
Blues didn't win today, but I did.
I spent the day with friends watching BCFC. We took the piss over food and beers, we sang, we laughed, we ate, we drank. I saw coppers laugh as Millwall got chased.
Following Blues means more than the result.
We're in this together.

"Let's make it a great day for everyone, from start to finish." 🔵
Ahead of tomorrow's season opener, Chairman of the Board, Tom Wagner, has delivered this message to fans.
This is for everyone who calls themselves Blues. To the never-miss-a-game hardcore, the special occasion goers or the when they can go fans, to those who have just started their Blues journey and those whose journey has sadly ended.
This is for the boys in Royal Blue.
Cheers.
I saw a comment along the lines of "if you watch the game, you don't notice Paik. If you watch Paik, you see the entire game."
He does so much. Most of it is simple, because he reads the game so well. My favourite is the way he knows when to drop back to cover defence.
I don't care if you hate NFL or love it.
I don't care if you like the Deadpool films or never seen them.
I don't give a shit if you're a fan of the Wrexham series.
Just make sure it's a fucking horrible and toxic atmosphere on Monday. Let's show these prima donnas who we are
If your social media timeline is full of parents telling you how well their kids have done (congratulations) I'm here to bring some balance.
My son's A level results were crap. Fortunately university was never in his plans.
Nothing changes though. I still love him.
In 10 years time well be settling in to our seats at the Knighthead International Arena, talking about our team captain
@BellinghamJude
's hat trick over the Vilers at the weekend, as we wait for the teams to come out against Barcelona in our UEFA quarter final.
This summer we get two massive screens, a new club shop, a couple of fan parks, an outdoor auditorium for gigs, new indoor and outdoor bars, VIP sections in the ground, a new PA system ...
They get some new seats.
And they think we're the small club.
I reckon we'll lose against Wrexham. It's a Monday night under the lights, full house, high expectations, half the world watching.
Blues like to keep us in check
I'm staying off the internet if we do lose. Half of our fans and the rest of league one will be calling us failures
That fatal crash on the Soho Road was sadly a case of when, not if.
The standard of driving in Brum is horrendous. Jumping red lights is standard. They ignore pedestrian crossings. They overtake into incoming traffic. Switch lanes knowing you'll break to avoid them.
Grateful to be invited by
@BCFC
’s new owners to the first home game of the season.
An atmosphere of hope & great optimism at St. Andrews today.
It’s clear the new owners are dedicated to bringing success to Blues - looking forward to working with them in the near the future.
There were plenty of people who wanted him out. His tenure was far from idyllic. There were long runs of poor results, questionable tactics and dubious line ups.
Take your blinkers off.
Two wins didn't turn him in to Ferguson or Guardiola.
We weren't perfect, but the club and fans were together.
There was passion, heart, and pride for the badge.
That's all we ask for, and that's what Esutace gave us.
@sail_outtt
@ediemmill
As a dog owner I can't begin to tell you how many dog owners assure me their dog is fine, while said dog is totally ignoring shouts to come back. The dog runs up to mine at speed and can't work out why my dog doesn't want to be sociable. Dog owners need to be more responsible.
We're still all Blues.
And that's the difference between us and anyone else.
We don't hide from the storm. We face it head on, knowing you can't have joys unless you've faced the sorrows.
A reminder that life is fleeting.
My mate has had the "4 months without treatment, 6 months with" talk today.
Don't dwell on arguments
Don't put off doing fun stuff
Money is meaningless in the grave
Tell those close to you you love them
Hug often
Smile frequently
A toast, to a good friend, funny bloke and a Bluenose.
Neil "Squeaky" Hill. Taken too soon.
He was a keen atheist and socialist, so I hope there is a God, so you can give each other a well meaning hard time.
I'll miss you mate.
@B25dave
Old Blues didn't have to worry about having Sky cameras zooming in on what was going on, a social media witch hunt, losing their job the next day and the club getting fined.
I know we brag about being a multi cultural club but you only have to spend a day on this platform to realise we've got our fair share of racist fans.
The responses to BCFC's black history month or any non Christian festival sadly highlight the bigots.
It's sad to see so many people finding things to complain about. Blues aren't perfect. They'll never be able to please everyone all the time. We had 2 free gigs. There were loads of bars and food serving 24k people. There will be queues. If you don't want to queue, stay at home
What a fantastic day it was. Just how it should be
No matter how much paint is used, how many fireworks are let off or how many quarterbacks come on board, it's the people I share pints with, chat shit with and sing songs with who make it special
I love you all, my Blue babbies
I get that there will always be people who slag off the OSCs. That's fine.
I joined one to see what they're about. Cost me a tenner, with £3 going to charity.
You can be as active (or not) as you want to be.
There's no agenda. It's never compulsory.
Unsurprisingly it's Moxley who is the first to try and piss on our chips.
He can fuck off.
It's going to take more than a bitter old hack to take away my optimism today.
I'm going to start a Herbert's Yard Blues Supporters Club. We meet once a month at the Yard, drink beers and eat street food.
Dogs more than welcome, unless they're a small yappy shit.
Who's in?
My wife hands in her notice today. Her company have ignored her requests for more responsibility, they paid her a pittance, her boss took the piss.
Today they're making people redundant and dumping more work on her.
I'm proud of her finally walking away from that place.

He's just come back from hideout festival. You can believe in reptiles or the government using strangers on a plane to bring in ID, but I'm going with drug psychosis.
It's almost comical how many older people want to go back to the "good old days", until you suggest giving kids milk and meals in schools, free university, a well funded NHS, higher taxes to fund infrastructure, affordable houses and decent wages, they suddenly become very angry.
@mammalsmall
The team have discussed this in the past. What happened yesterday has happened before with the full agreement of all team members.
From 2019:
@deathofbuckley
We made a protective perfume out of crushed rose petals, hid in shade shelters from discarded hedge porn and reflected the sun with the help of magically white dog turds.
There is absolutely no excuse for drink driving.
The vast majority of people have a smart phone. You're a couple of clicks away from ordering a taxi.
Call a mate or relative, or ask the bar staff to order you a cab
You know you're drunk.
You know you're putting lives at risk
It's 2036. Blues have just done the European triple.
Meanwhile Moxley is moaning that the club didn't build it's world renown international 60,000 seater stadium closer to the number 11 route and how that decision has cost the club dearly and driven away the fans.
Supporters now have the opportunity to submit their big screen messages for the final home Sky Bet Championship fixture of the season against Norwich City.
"If we can create the right kind of atmosphere around the Club and in the stadium, then we're going to be very, very difficult to stop." 💬
Chris Davies' first interview is here.
New stadium built into an enormous Peaky Blinder themed attraction on the Wheels site, is my educated guess.
Further down the line of course.
Solves several problems of revenue, attracting new/past supporters and marketing Blues to a global audience.
Plus mass redevelopment.
I've seen a lot of our fans panicking about Rotherham sacking their manager.
If any club should know there's no such thing as a new manager bounce it's surely Blues.
Do these muppets forget that we play half of our games at home? Even if we can't play on the ploughed fields they're so proud of, it's going to be sexy starburst football at St Andrews. That's 69 points in the bag to start with.
Can't wait to see Birmingham City fans watching their millionaire players getting slapped about by teams intent on anti-football while refs wave away stone cold pen appeals in a ground that looks like it survived a direct nuke attack while paying £8 for a microwaved burger.
#bcfc
I can't make it on Saturday. Having seen the replies to the latest pre match comments from Rooney I'm glad I won't be there.
I can't believe how many people who call themselves fans of this club are hoping our manager fails.
We don't deserve success if this is our fanbase.
@AllisonPearson
@leeandersonmp
We can afford it. We can afford to look after those in need. But the government refuses to do so.
Stop stirring up hatred towards a group of people. It leads to violence, as we saw yesterday.
Sadly most of my DMs with Gaz were on my old account.
He asked about cannabis oil. I told him I could get some. Gaz had only tried the shop bought stuff. I did warn him this was the real deal so he needed to take it easy. He thought he did.
I gave him his first whitey 😁
This is the game when i reported a group of Burnley fans for racist chanting and gesturing. The police were very slow to react, even though the racists were still gesturing.
I don't care if it makes me a grass. I can't tolerate racism.
If members of the LGBTQ+ community were accepted and treated the same as others then sure, no problem.
But verbal and physical attacks against them have increased.
They're discriminated against at home, at work and in public. These groups provide much needed support & advice.
Gonna be unpopular, but this is just unnecessary.
Why can't people who are members of the LGBTQ+ community just join the already existing OSCs that are in their area? Why do we have to separate them and create a new club?
Reform. The current name for ukip. The party that wants to end rights for workers, women, trade unions and tenants. The party promoted by Russian bot farms. A limited company backed by the rich. The first choice for racists and a party full of racists. The party to end the NHS.
The people hating on Glastonbury and the people at Glastonbury are dull old fucks who are dead inside.
They've never been to a gig, rave or festival.
They've never lost themselves in a song, smiled or cried at lyrics that mean so much to them.
They're emotionally insensate
I'm told I should be working on Monday because I'm not a royalist.
That's fine
Just so long as the royalists arguing this who don't support trade unions start working weekends, give up paid holidays, don't claim maternity/paternity leave and give up their minium wage.
Deal?
It's bizarre and bemusing how one journalist who isn't a Blues fan but covers our games has heaped nothing but praise on our teams performance, yet the journalist who is a Blues fan can't stop spewing bile and slagging everyone off.
You backed the wrong ownership bid. Let it go
Don't forget to raise a glass to Neil Squealy Hill today, a Sheldon lad and long-standing Blue
It was his funeral today. Sorry I couldn't be there mate but you would only have moaned about my choice of footwear.
Keep right on.
