@JamaalBowmanNY How about an investigation into why college/university tuition has increase by 300% in the last 20 years. The more tuition is supplemented by anything the higher they jack their tuition. Fix that first. That will open college up to more people of lesser financial means.

It used to be that you didn't incur any interest on a school loan until you graduated or left school. Why not make that a less resisted first step for all students? Then let's debate the next step of forgiving a chunk of the debt. But Cap Tuition so colleges can't hike it up.
