Dr. Weick is an orthopedic trauma surgeon whose research expertise is exemplified by his publications featured in JBJS, JAAOS, Journal of Orthopedic Trauma, and more. He has a passion for education and mentorship in orthopedics at all levels.

My ortho letters came from my 3rd year rotation site. They wrote very personal, detailed, strong letters. Having letters from people you know best (even if it’s not from an audition site) is key in my opinion. Wanted to throw that out there if you had that option!

I was in a similar situation (PM&R not gen surg) and decided to go with ortho. Zero regrets! I would go with your gut feeling. I felt more geared towards ortho due to less medicine overall than gen surg. Happy to chat anytime just message me!
