Agreed, I heard it and thought to myself, hmm management are not going to be happy that got through (I don't mean the S bomb per se, more that somebody managed to make it to air and was able to actually tell it like it is that Brexit is indeed a pile of sh!t).

I’m shocked I tell you Russell, totally shocked! I mean, obviously his wife ran the Conservative friends of Russia group but that doesn’t mean the former PM has anything to answer for surely?

Curious, isn’t it, that when fish swim into our waters, people like John Redwood think that that makes them “our fish”, but when desperate asylum seekers arrive by boat into our waters, they’re somebody else’s problem and should be despatched as quickly and brutally as possible.

@13sarahmurphy
Absolutely. If at the start someone had offered England making it to the final, I would have bitten their hand off. We got close & it hurts but the best team of the tournament won. The Eng team should be proud. At least it stops the PM & the rest of the cabinet from hijacking it.

I thought he was lying low as a result of certain alleged allegations. Maybe I’m wrong. This whole story is a dead cat & could be killed off by any interviewer reminding whichever Tory popping up to defend it, that they will have to admit petrol now costs £10 a gallon! Game over.

Not a lot that can be done in mastering when the mix is already sounding like that and has been approved by the band, the producers and the label. It could have been even louder, the source I worked with was the LESS limited version! For LMD I had more input. Best leave it there.

Not very bright UK Government bots either. I'm pretty sure that Dan Saffend (Saffend = Southend where the bots are seemingly based) is using a pic of the actor Roger Allam

This is exactly it. We all know that the Tories will screw us, this is a given, it is what they do. Essentially, they will screw anyone who is not already super rich. Labour are worse as they pretend to care and draw you in, only to screw you too. This is actually more dishonest.

I completely agree Brian. It’s a fantastic final album. “Let It Be” (recorded before AR but released after) is possibly more troubled. IMHO, they knew it was coming to an end (🎼 “The End” 🎼😂😂) but wanted to finish on a high note, hence “Abbey Road.” They totally succeeded.

Just for the pedantic among you all. The classic album was remastered from the 1/4” analogue master tapes while the all new material was mastered from the digital source 😃
The culture at No.10 is entirely driven by the PM. I can tell you what kind of culture it is: It's a culture where a lying, cheating, misogynist, racist alcoholic and his young, power-hungry wife thought they were so powerful and invincible that the rules didn't apply to them.

Hi Tony, it was 1990’s DJ culture and the 12” single being the DJ’s format of choice that saved vinyl. It kept the mastering houses and pressing plants busy while album sales on vinyl had switched to CD. I’m running the lathe as hard now as I did 25 years ago.

They will try to blame “EU Red Tape” when in reality it is solely Brexit Red Tape which was an inevitable consequence of the “deal” that the unelected bureaucrat Lord Frost negotiated.

Honda sell 40,000 cars in the UK a year. They want to continue this. They know 50% of the pop. voted leave, they do not want to antagonise 20,000 potential annual customers. Of course they are going to be polite and and say it’s not Brexit related. It makes perfect business sense

The man with the non-Midas touch! I curse De Peffel daily for many reasons, not least every time I have the misfortune to travel on one of his horrible, noisy, stiflingly hot (in summer), dingy & uncomfortable London Buses. Absolutely everything associated with him is garbage.

Hazel Yarwood was a legend. No one could cut masters for classical records better, louder & cleaner than her. No one. German EMI sent all their disc mastering engineers to learn from her. They all improved but not one of them reached her levels of sheer skill. We are not worthy.
