@CharlieM_OBE Reforms plans to attract youngsters to the NHS is spot on. Imagine if you were due to leave school this summer, effective offered free trading to be a doctor, dentist, radiologist, medic, nurse etc, and all you have to do is commute to the NHS for ten years. They will jump at it.

@sequi_simon They apply the rule of law. If you come to work, you need a sponsor (normally your employer). If you break the law, you are out on your ear, no questions. They have full control of their borders. The police are respected, you don’t mess with them. Crime is almost none existent.

@SteveBakerFRSA I served in the Army 75-92. Everyone was treated equally with some battalions with lots of black soldiers. The army didn’t make “special efforts “ in recruiting or whilst serving. There was no racial abuse or bullying. What’s changed?
