My new set up works good but I bought them with crappie in mind - Didn't work first time out. I've been saying for years that Logan Martin has more bass than crappie, every year I prove myself right. We fished 7 hours and managed to catch 8 bass and missed about that many more.

It's hot outside so here's a flashback 😀 Pickwick Dam - 12 years ago We caught these fish on the biggest artificial lures I've ever used. A seven inch sassy shad type swim bait with a one ounce lead head to keep it on bottom in swift water. It was an awesome day of fishing. 🎣
