@Xploshi Citra focuses on only emulating software interfaces used by games. There's preliminary support beyond that, so HOME Menu "runs" but doing anything interesting (like launching games) will just hang the emulator. So there's a huge blind spot that Mikage addressed right away!

Reassuringly, what blocked 9.0.0 support wasn't sloppy bugs in Mikage's code: Instead, it was all about implementing new features (encryption, extra mem regions, ...) added since version 4.5.0! It really does pay off to take extra time for doing things right from the start 😊

Quick serious post. Betas are unstable. They have issues and can be shaky. That’s why they are betas, and not full releases. Harassing our devs for the servers having bugs does no one any favors, and will get the beta shut down early and indefinitely. Think before you act.

The Wii U has an unused feature allowing you to connect two GamePads to a single console. Even though it's unused it is still present in the system files. This is a small homebrew demo game I wrote which uses the MultiDRC mode:
