So, the FIA are clamping down on this rule and it’s now part of scrutineering in

. Reasons noted/elaborated as to why the RD thinks it essential. However, might this become a stand off? Could Lewis refuse to remove his jewellery and if so, will he be allowed to drive?
As a sport and group of people, I’d say F1 deserves better than the current leadership. I’ve never known a period with so many terrible, out of touch decisions both on and off the track. F1 is basically eating itself atm.
Alonso is very talented - and easily one of the best drivers on the grid. He deserves more than two championships and has been consistently good - but I really think he needs to talk to someone about 2007

has my full support. Face to face dialogue is the only way to sort out issues and disputes in the relentless crucible of the F1 paddock. We all have opinions and different jobs to do, that’s life
Christian Horner is tarnishing F1. Red Bull broke the rules but Horner says criticism is affecting the mental health of the team. This is a blatant deflection technique but also trivialises the difficulties of people with real mental health problems
Formula 1 is sweating on the fitness of both of its race directors ahead of next week’s Miami GP with both Niels Wittich and Eduardo Freitas having tested positive for Covid | Exclusive by

Di Resta: this movable wheel in the cockpit seems to allow the Mercedes drivers to change the direction of the car, it’s giving them so much lap time!
The comments: omg how is this legal and the flexi wing isn’t!
I’m not even bothered by this result. It’s actually so ridiculous and engineered it’s not really registering. The thing is, people remember stuff like this. Like 97 and 94. Forever a joke.
Well done. Whatever happens it’s important to have this uncovered and displayed. The world had to watch that happen and now we should see who is responsible, and why.
My view… The FIA should have waited until Pierre had passed the incident before releasing the recovery vehicle on track in these low visibility conditions.
Pierre was also going at a much faster speed than anyone else, should have been warned where the vehicle was & slowed down
What a disgrace! Championship winner to be decided by the stewards! Not enough time to get the race in before the F1 race starts at 3pm, as per the rulebook.
To be honest, I usually prefer watching the LH laps where the car just isn't listening. That's when you get to see the control. Dragging a noncompliant car to the front row shows the skill well.

Less smart money, more looking at existing rules and precedents. It wasn’t just a gamble, it was based on what should have happened.
