@georgjar The fact ife still isn't normal in the UK/UK is painful. We sacrificed a year for the vaccine. Now that vaccines are widely available, only 30% of people are getting it. The anti vaxxers are why restrictions are returning. It's not to protect us. It's to protect THEM. sick of it.

For public safety, wear a mask, wash your hands and respect service workers. It’s really not that hard. The sooner we cooperate the sooner we can return to normal.

@OmuMacaw AND! if you love cats and hate the claws, claw caps, trimming nails, or simply train your cat what is and isn't okay to scratch are all viable non abusive options. Yes, a cat can be trained. A simple weekly nail trimming can make a world of difference.

@horror_flick_66 Yup. I've worked in both a nursing home and an office setting during all this and haven't caught it. Even after being exposed by multiple positive coworkers. It's called masks, washing your hands and getting vaxxed. Greatly reduces the chance of you catching it or falling ill.

Real talk: If you comm someone, you're comming for THEIR WORK. Don't tell them to make art like a different artist. Not only is this rude to the person you commed AND the person you want them to mimic, it's hurtful. It's basically saying you don't like the style you paid for.

@dhc_hatepage Please don't get an unrealistic standard into the average furry's head. That's definitely a short pile fur. It's incredibly difficult to make seams disappear the shorter the pile. It is a swen piece of clothing. Seams will happen. I Hate DHC, but this new standard ain't it.

@keatonfoxx No artist/maker owes you accessibility or affordability. Art is a LUXURY ITEM. You do not NEED it. Half of what a maker gets from a commission goes directly into the project itself. Fur, glue, taxes, work space, etc. So drop the entitled attitude. It's not cute.

@DreamerHyena I was 5 when it happened. I don't remember much, but I do remember the news being on in the clinic waiting room. Staff surrounding the TV theorizing how the 1st hit happened. When the 2nd hit, the head dr changed the channel to cartoons. Didn't learn what happened for 10 years

@OmuMacaw Agreed! I have two kitties that get regular nail trimmings because declaring is literal animal abuse. Tons of vets won't even do it anymore, because they're finally speaking out about what used to be "standard." Leave kitties with their claws. Let them live a happy life.
