1/ Yesterday the British government launched air strikes on a sovereign state that are against international law. This was also done w/o domestic authorisation in terms of the new Parliamentary convention. 4 out of 5 British people do not agree with military action.

I am very glad to be back on campus at Leicester and welcome back all our students for face to face teaching. I would say to any student however, if your local student union is asking you to show any kind of Covid Pass or vaccine pass to get into events, simply go elsewhere.

Russia now promotes a conspiracy theory that it was allegedly a missile of Ukrainian air defense that fell on the Polish theory. Which is not true. No one should buy Russian propaganda or amplify its messages. This lesson should have been long learnt since the downing of #MH17 .

So today we leaned the Government is planning for autumn restrictions and the Health Sec plans to downgrade medical treatment for people who don’t want the vaccine. Phew I’m glad all those conspiracy theories have proved to be nonsense.
