Foreign holidays illegal, care home staff to be compelled to have vaccine, secondary school kids in masks for 6 hours a day, still illegal to have a friend in your house, NHS waiting lists at horrendous levels, businesses collapsing. What a government this has turned out to be.
I have a friend whose cancer is now terminal, following months of lack of diagnosis and treatment ‘because covid’. Will the Gov be doing a hard hitting ad inviting us all to look into their eyes?

I’m awaiting the outcry about Covid passports from left wing journos, academics and politicians who regularly use words such as fascism to describe Government policies.
I am very glad to be back on campus at Leicester and welcome back all our students for face to face teaching. I would say to any student however, if your local student union is asking you to show any kind of Covid Pass or vaccine pass to get into events, simply go elsewhere.
We seem to be having the ‘ill children with covid are packing paediatric wards’ scare again just as Gov pushing to have over 12s vaccinated. It’s hard to grasp the level of fear mongering and manipulation from the Government.
Absolutely beyond disgraceful that Russia dares to interfere in America’s back yard! Oh sorry, what? It’s a pic of American military in Ukraine? Apologies, that’s totally legit.
But I’m guessing you expect your water runs, electricity, gas functions, rubbish collected, car repaired, food in supermarkets, famers working, factories functioning oh & Amazon still delivering. I think lots of middle class people think fairy dust makes the country function.
What shall I do with my newfound liberty? Oh yes, I'll simply continue to avoid indoor public spaces because the government has catastrophically mishandled the pandemic.
A sad day for all those fans, including many in the media, of shouting covidiots/ you’ll be in ICU next week at ordinary people getting out and having a nice time.

What ever happened to the Skripals? Last month they were the centre of a global crisis and today, it's all gone, including as far as I can tell, the Skripals themselves. Are there no journalists who want to investigate what's gone on?
Keep in mind this was said by Ukrainian Gov when pictures were already available of the missiles and the Gov would have known full well the missiles were Ukrainian.
Russia now promotes a conspiracy theory that it was allegedly a missile of Ukrainian air defense that fell on the Polish theory. Which is not true. No one should buy Russian propaganda or amplify its messages. This lesson should have been long learnt since the downing of

I am seriously coming to the conclusion that Luke Harding is a Russian operative who has been put in place as part of a long term dastardly plan to make British journalism appear ridiculous.

Vaccine passports will transform the relationship between state and society and make normal life a gift of the state. Where these have been brought in, there is no longer a liberal democratic system in existence.
The total silence from all Western states and our media about what is going on in Australia is incredible. Honourable mention to Polish diplomats in Australia who publicly said Australian covid policy is disgraceful and must stop.

I for one am very grateful for the trigger warning before entering Hogarth and Europe at The Tate. Otherwise, I would have been stunned that an artist from the mid 18th C did not have the mores and values considered appropriate for a contemporary issue of The Guardian.

I am assuming any one who considers themselves on the left/progressive will be up in arms today that a Conservative government has put through a law forcing some of the lowest paid precarious workers, mostly women, to have medical treatment as a condition of employment.
In Latvia, Italy, France, Germany, Israel, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland people excluded from normal life without a pass; Austria ‘locking down’ unvaccinated; Australia and Canada too. San Fran about to enforce passes for 5+. A year ago this was all ‘conspiracy theory’.
As with covid, so for war, the British legacy media has become a propaganda arm of the Gov, no analysis, no questions, just channelling fear and emotions and demanding more must be done. It’s poisonous for our democracy.
A policy that is sinister, stupid and a huge waste of resources. Well done

Ok hold on just a minute, the French state was beating and tear gassing and attacking protesters for a year with not a peep from any other EU Gov and virtual media black out.

Why on earth is The Times working so hard to try and smear a small group of academics who are asking entirely legitimate questions about Government foreign policy?

Vaccine passports are divisive, discriminatory and will introduce a form of medical apartheid. That however is the point. It is a coercive tool to force people into having a vaccine. There cannot be a ‘positive’ form of this.
#NoVaccinePassportsAnywhere
This is absolutely not how the vaccine was originally justified. The Gov and ministers repeatedly said lockdown with the aim to vaccinate those in the highest risk groups and then (ahem) ‘cry freedom’ as Hancock said. Now it’s when everyone is vaccinated. And after that?
Jeremy Brown, of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunology warns against early easing of lockdown rules: 'Until we can suppress infection going round the country, which means vaccinating everybody, then some degree of social distancing is going to be required'
