I was a Christian for half my life. I've heard ALL the evidence. In the end, it was a deep and thorough review and rehash of ALL the evidence in a desperate attempt to keep my faith that led to my eventual atheism. Theism is bunk precisely because there IS NO credible evidence.

Christians believe the claims of the Bible because they believe the Bible is the word of God, and they believe the Bible is the word of God because it says in the Bible that the Bible is the word of God. If the absurdity of this logic isn't obvious to you, you may be a Christian.

To Christians, the environment is expendable. When you believe that God has given man "dominion" over all creatures (Gen 1:28) and that the Earth will be destroyed after the 2nd Coming of Christ, you simply don't have the same sense of urgency and preciousness about the Earth.

I went from silent atheist to vocal atheist after the SCOTUS repeal of Roe v Wade. I'm no fan of abortion, but I'm a fan of the right to choose AND of the separation of church and state, and the repeal convinced me that remaining silent was no longer a responsible option for me.

Why do theists think that the Big Bang Theory implies that "something came from NOTHING"? The singularity is theorized to have contained ALL the energy and spacetime of the Universe at infinite density, which would merely imply that "everything came from EVERYTHING".
