I agree with @FrancisSuarez efforts to attract tech companies to #Miami . When we talk about companies relocating to the #305 it's really the Greater Miami area which includes #MiamiLakes . This past year we had one large software firm relocate to the Lakes. (1/3)

So residents of Miami Lakes, Hialeah and PSN can drive a couple of miles north to Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines to eat, drink and have fun; but they can't walk to main street in Miami Lakes and do the same. #SaveMainStreet

The most amazing thing happened today. Former @MiamiHEAT player Brian Grant came by to see my dad. My dad has been depressed lately due to his Parkinson's. Brian heard about him and came by to cheer him up. Brian also has Parkinson's and is fighting the disease every single day.

Big night in #MiamiLakes ! Our Police Commander just announced that we currently have the lowest crime rate in the last 10 years and possibly in our town's history. Thank you to the men and women in our police department for their hardwork.

Today, we officially opened the NW 60th Avenue pedestrian and bicycle shared use path. The new path is almost one mile long and it was constructed utilizing porous flexible pavement. This area of town never had sidewalks in the past.
