@__KatieWalker I’m about 80 queries in & there’s a point where the rejections didn’t hurt bc they’re standard. It’s like, got that one out of the way. One step closer to finding the one who will say yes. But if you get a full or partial it gives you a big boost!

@APoetForThePyre If you read widely in the genre you will learn what’s common. I haven’t found much that’s off limits but keeping it non graphic with moderate amounts of profanity will keep the audience wide.

@vivianavasiu92 Also, if you find an agent that’s a good fit, there’s an option under reports to see agents with similar taste (if you’re a premium member). I’ve found that super helpful to find the best fit agents.
