Small victory today in the Leg. i was able to get an amendment to PC's Bill-71 defund public education bill. PC's wanted to waste $1.3 million send out cheques with Premier's name on it. Unfair taxpayer funded political ad. My amendment made that illegal. #mbpoli

I rose yesterday to highlight how this government waited til now to form a plan for our schools. Sitting on federal money and trying to hire teachers in November is not a plan. They had time and they wasted it. This is harmful to all students and teachers. #mbpoli

Met a young couple today with a 6 month newborn with some medical challenges. They been looking for months but can’t find a paediatrician in all of WPG looking to take on new patients. I can only imagine the constant anxiety this family faces. This is PC Healthcare #mbpoli

About Mining in MB: PC took office in 2016 - MB was considered the 2nd best jurisdiction for Mining. Under the PC’s we’ve dropped to 35th place. We used to employ 40 geologists. After PC cuts we now employ 8. PC dismantled mining industry in MB MB you deserve better #mbpoli

Met a women at the door. She had a fractured shoulder & needed surgery Waited in pain Each day she wasn’t allowed to eat in anticipation of the surgery Each day the surgery got cancelled It took 10 days in the hospital to get the surgery This is PC healthcare #mbpoli
