Here’s what Vance said: "I don't like that this is a fact of life … But if you are a psycho and you want to make headlines, you realize that our schools are soft targets. And we have got to bolster security at our schools. We've got to bolster security so if a psycho wants to
Casey DeSantis and her son Mason made a campaign stop at Mahalo’s in Nowalk, Iowa this afternoon. When asked why her husband took an approach to COVID different from the other governors, she said he worked early on to understand COVID—so much so she had to build a pillow wall in
@JRubinBlogger
Then why would an identical indictment have been “filed” hours before the grand jury had finished hearing witnesses and “returned” the indictment? Unforced error that lets people understand how this “grand jury” merely rubber-stamped the result the prosecutors wanted and wrote.
@davereaboi
Saw DeSantis in Des Moines yesterday afternoon. Standing room only crowd and impressive speech—much looser in person than on TV. Stayed around 20 minutes + afterwards to sign his book. Still signing as I left for dinner. Good vibe.

Prosecuted for 20 years. Don’t mess with 404(b) evidence when the judge has already ruled on it. Judge was on point and doing his job.

The fact that she is a vet. and making a political post doesn’t seem to bother most posters. Guess it’s the thought that counts.
@BuzzPatterson
@PeteButtigieg
Quite surprising, since I assume the adoptions were planned. If you know you cannot devote all your efforts to a job this important you should not agree to take it.
@ScottAdamsSays
With no convincing evidence to the contrary, this has been a Wuhan lab leak from the very beginning. Again, the mainstream media’s emotional need to damage Trump has provided a real impediment to the public learning what really happened.
@wesyang
Don’t attempt to learn the law at Stanford. There are many far more balanced law schools out there. Probably a risk to hire Stanford grads also, if this is how they act. Looks like they would have a hard time staying on task.

Perhaps he needs to find a new way to convey all the wisdom/insight/skill he accumulated over the years? Many artists peak at old age.

Perhaps CC could be the spokesperson for the US Olympics team; she seems to be able to construct a simple English sentence. Whoops—I hope that’s not racist!
@charliekirk11
I think a corporation like delta trying to dictate public policy is “unacceptable.” Is delta elected by the public and entitled to enforce its position in our democracy?
@cbrennansports
How right she is—my wife and I saw the first triple-double while driving back to Iowa from South Caroline. Paid an ungodly sum for tickets and glad we did.
@MZHemingway
When your case is going south you continue to hold out hope that somehow things will get better. Not always the best approach since the other side may also get better.
@nhannahjones
Of course parents want teachers who are subject matter experts; most just don’t want leftist political indoctrination. Seems to be a fairly clear distinction.
@BoSnerdley
She is trying to construct a case, a complicated case involving computerized voting systems spanning multiple states, each with different laws/facts and is doing it on a very tight timeline. I like Tucker, but maybe, just maybe, she’s too busy building a case to talk to Tucker.
@nhannahjones
Not sure you had to be black to experience the freshman shock in college—many of my friends didn’t survive the first year; but they went on to lead successful lives.

Doubt the Court will need to make that finding. Dispositive issue will be whether section 3 of 14th Amendment can be used as CO used it?
@MEdwardsBball
Doubt this is the rule: late in a close game, when the offensive team’s best shooter is moving for a game-winning shot, offensive players may throw otherwise illegal screens to allow their best shooter an unimpeded last-second shot, so that the game may be decided on that shot?
@JonathanTurley
Neither side probably knows these answers and shows the advance investigation was shoddy. Burden is on the House Impeachment Team to establish necessary facts; they have failed.
@realjakecobb
Spoken like a proud federal government worker/union member, with little or no understanding of how different he is from the vast majority of US citizens.
@mchooyah
Yes. Great example of how to piss a judge off. Don’t mess with 404(b) evidence when the judge has already ruled on the issue and reiterated his ruling earlier in the day.
@mitchellvii
Was not broken, rather made a smooth/easy transition to RDS. Always voted for Trump with reservation. RDS was a reliable, disciplined, and knowledgeable Trump. No question in my mind but to switch.
@emzanotti
Agree. DeSantis is a more nuanced/effective/disciplined communicator than Trump. He will be better able to communicate Trump’s vision than Trump did and he won’t make Trump’s mistakes in Georgia.
