If I may weigh in I think Marcos style makes M look more unique than he originally did. I have a philosophy for making horror versions of characters "the less they resemble the originals, the better" because if they were 100% accurate they wouldn't look intimidating imo

Hi I'm gonna deconstruct this because I feel like this misses the entire point of what 85 goes for. Horror doesn't need to be flashy. it can be subtle. It can slowly pull you in and subvert expectations. It can play mind games with you and change your trajectory.

Let's get started with the things i DO like. The sprite work compared to mr. pixels previous games is, really good! Theyre well shaded, well animated, and overall just well made all around. I sat down to watch this and I was really pleased with the visuals!

like I feel like people have this huge disconnect that mx is supposed to be MARIO. not WARIO. He's supposed to look like some weird freaky mario who's big and tall, not bulky or shredded like wario. kingpin MX was an honest to God mistake and I wish I never made it.
