For long I've resisted putting a flag on my profile because it makes people profile you before interacting with you.
But I'm going to start putting flags depending on my mood and see how this experiment goes.
Naturally we're starting with Haiti π
So an Aussie redditor mercenary fighting in the International Legion got ploinked.
I would grant though, he tried to inject a healthy dose of reality into the copium to no avail. He even got his comments deleted a couple of times for being too realistic.
Some selections π
I've lost almost all my Russian friends over the last 2 years. Still have not fully processed what happened. In many ways it's insane how many of them, who seemed like completely normal people on the surface, turned into full on pro-Putin Z-goons within just a few weeks.
So the Russians put up a pontoon over the Seym River immediately after or even before the bridge was destroyed.
Ukraine meanwhile lost 3 HIMARS, 3 patriots and 1 IRIS-T making potholes on the bridge. I would say that's a very good exchange. I hope they try more of this.
Here he acknowledges the superiority of Western EW, the stupidity of redditor armchair-generaling and admits that there's no such thing as "Meat wave tactics"
@GeromanAT
Nigerian here: People have no idea just how apathetic we are to this war. Vast majority of people don't know shit about Ukraine or Russia. However Russia has a strong image here as a country that has always stood up to the west while Ukraine is relatively unknown.
@tylerduran21
@markskull
Imo he should have just done it. What are they going to do? Come and rip it off?
I guess he never thought they would say no. It seems like such an easy PR win but the mouse never misses an opportunity to be evil
Other comments pointing out the joke that is "NATO partner training" and the fact that the Russians are not running out of equipment and interestingly that WillyOAM wasn't really making shit up.
His comment about mocking the dead flew over heads of the redditors.
Ukraine suffering a shortage of men of men and equipment decided on the ultimate larp of Operation Citadel with the same disastrous results as their German predecessors.
The question on everyone's mind should be: "When is the Kursk Strategic Offensive Operation starting?"
When the Kharkov operation started, I correctly predicted that it was a distraction to force Ukr to move forces from Donbass and that Donbass is the priority.
Sumy feels quite different. I'm not sure when or what the goals will be but it won't be a limited op like Kharkov.
Then in a deleted comment, he wisely advised people against joining the International Legion, to stay home.
He really should have taken his own advice.
He confirmed something I've believed for a long time: That Ru has more drones than Ukr but because Uk posts everything while Ru Mod is notoriously tight-fisted with footage, it looks like Ukr has more.
And of course that life outside the frontline is more or less normal.
7 months ago he pointed out the massive corruption problem in Ukraine that everyone with a brain knew but the West is only acknowledging now and the lack of accountability in the AFU.
Also bursts the myth of 10:1 kill ratio π
According to Pro-Ukrainian channel "Rezident", these are the losses of the AFU in the past 3 weeks.
While the channel has been fairly reliable when it comes to information from Zelensky's office but 90 tank losses? That's crazy if it's true.
Footage of the Russians launching Kalibr cruise missiles from ships of the Black Sea Fleet this morning.
28 Kalibr missiles were launched by Russians. And in total 236 missiles and drones of different types were launched during today's Russian attack on Ukraine.

Contractors are using your tax dollars to maintain the yatches and there's no clear evidence that they will be sold. So the seizure is simply virtue signaling and a minor inconvenience to billionaires at great cost to you.
Delusional mf thinks this is a playground or something.
You can't just "freeze" or tap out anytime you want. You bought the ticket and you will see this show to the end.
No refunds.
Ukraine could be ready to freeze hostilities with Russia on certain parts of the frontline, according to Bild, citing what it claims to be Vladimir Zelenskyβs revised strategy
Rybar has made 3 major claims:
1. Ukr will conduct an offensive across the Dnieper this week.
2. Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian contingent will enter western Ukr by the 2nd half of June - the beginning of July
3. Poland will attempt a coup in Belarus to coincide with the NATO summit

I've passed through that road multiple times, it's a death trap no matter the season.
It's even worse in the dry season when the dust will reduce visibility to zero and choke you to death.

Guess where that Uranium comes from?
Also industries run on gas, cars run on oil and many products depend on fossil fuels.
Just a day after EU leaders said: "We might be stupid but we are not that stupid" they confirmed that they are indeed that stupid like everyone suspected.
If this goes true, it's basically the US getting the EU to commit sepukku.
Bad for Europe, good for the rest of the world.
How is the G7 financing the $50bn from seized Russian assets worth over $325 billion?
Itβs been a while from my i-banking days, but this should be it. Maybe

can confirm.
Essentially:
- G7 and EU froze the $325bn
- they cannot legally seize the $325bn, as warned by the
I had my doubts regarding a UA summer offensive in the south, and everything after that has been pretty predictable. I also think the next year is pretty predictable. I think RU will exhaust their offensive potential taking Avdiivka over the winter.

It continues to confuse me how European nations are happily demilitarizing themselves with no hope of replacement in the short term.
Are they really so confident that they won't need them in the next few years?

Lol, good luck with that. Those companies moved to Asia for the same reason Europe buys Russian gas: It's cheaper.
When it's cheaper in America then they will come back.
They won't announce a withdrawal until they have to literally crawl on their bellies to do it.
That is the curse of the Mykola: They are incapable of giving up any piece of dirt no matter how untenable. Pro-Ukr celebrate the tenacity, pro-Rus celebrate the stupidity.

There might be a racist component or it's just him reacting to handshake from a random person on the streets. And I say this as black person.
At the risk of becoming unpopular.
I understand why Ukraine is doing this, but I hope there's a good, well thought through plan behind this.
If there isn't, there's a risk of sliding down a slippery slope into something that could end badly.
No it doesn't.
Drones are very useful but have their limitations. We're in this phase where people think they can do everything and you no longer need manned systems.
People are pronouncing the end of manned aircraft because drones will replace them. They won't
Chinese PLA has released a new study suggesting it has the capability to impose and maintain a blockade on an island using drones alone.

Poland is the most rabid of the bunch currently.
And no, they didn't get off energy dependence. They're still buying Russian gas and oil except from Germany at higher prices. Very impressive π

The entitlement of Ukraine is a wonder to behold. Instead of making friends in a difficult time, they're making enemies. One day, US will drop them like a hot potato and they will find themselves surrounded by enemies. That is if they survive as a country which I doubt

@Taurevanime
Because that's how professional armies operate. How many footages did they release from Syria?
What about US and other western armies, how many footages of their wars did you see while it was going on?
Someone should teach his social media manager how threads work.

Let's see how many of them pan out.
The only one I believe will happen is the attempt to cross the Dnieper but I'm not sure it will happen this week. We're still far from the July NATO summit and there's a risk it will bog down just like the offensive without achieving anything

The guy you're talking to doesn't even know them and has not seen fit to look it up but he's defending the wrong answer she gave.
It's Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson - The four Oblasts or regions (Not provinces, that's a Chinese thing) Russia annexed.

Sometime ago, Northern farmers in Nigeria decided to block transportation of food down south as a protest. Everyone in the south laughed at them. In a couple of days when food began to spoil and they were hard on cash, they shamefully reversed course.
Copestate finally realizes that Bakhmut was indeed a mistake and that Ukraine is repeating that same mistake again.
What has always been obvious to any sober observer.
The battle of Avdeevka eerily resembles that of Bakhmut. Serious assault began in winter, massive gains first which then slowed down. Now we just need a Soledar moment in January to complete it.
More importantly, Ukraine is repeating all the mistakes of Bakhmut.

The frequent use of GDP as an economic metric to the exclusion of all else has warped the Westoid mind on how real economy actually works.
They think GDP is money sitting in a bank account and all you need to do is to take it and buy whatever you need.
The war in Ukraine is absolutely winnable for Ukraine. Itβs western partners just need to spend half a percent of GDP on aid. Something that Baltic states exceed by a factor of 2-3x without issue.
Half a percent of U.S and EU GDP would be 237 billion dollars a year.
