After just two and a half hours of labor, Rolf Edwin (Eddie) arrived smoothly at 7:04 PM!! Both of us are doing well, and he weighs in at 8lbs 4oz, and 20 1/2 inches ☺️ We are so thankful for a smooth labor and awesome midwives ☺️

I find that creating something beautiful, however slow or on the side it needs to be, is invigorating for the rest of my work. This sweater I am knitting does not need to be redone three times a day. I knit a stitch…and it stays! 2/

My friend just had her baby boy 4 weeks early AT A FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION while her husband is still on a trip in ENGLAND, and a bunch of the church ladies appear to have caught the baby?!?!? This is so cool 😂😂😂 (Everyone is doing great)

Yesterday I sold pies at our Christmas market, and it was a delight! My mom designed my logo, my MIL helped with the boys, my Winco provided 40 lbs of apples, and my husband had the idea for the whole thing ☺️ My hands ache and my heart is happy. Merry Advent!

20 hours after labor began, at 8:57 AM, Taylor and I excitedly welcomed little Peter Aurelius, at 21” and 6’4”. Both of us are doing well, and Aurelius is sweet and loves being swaddled. We are so thankful to God for the smooth delivery, and the addition to our little family ☺️

Why I Knit Today is my Annie Grooke’s birthday. For the uninitiated, that’s how I chose to say Auntie Brooke. When I was 6, she taught me to knit, using sweaty acrylic yarn, and size 15 aluminum needles. When I was 13, she accepted Christ as her savior. 🧵

I grew up always knowing his family! So we met at church but I never took note of him. We remet at a church youth fundraiser, drying cars together. He thought I was cute, and I realized he was interesting to talk to. 5 years later we have 2 boys + have been married for 3 years!
