Twitter giveaway time! One MY Precision Ag hoodie, hat and T-shirt to celebrate one year in business. To enter follow me and retweet this tweet. (This giveaway is separate from the one on FB). Will be drawn for Monday June 27th!
Customer phones late last night they’ve been trying to get ahold of dealer that sold them their water management all day as they are having issues.
Asks if there was any way I could come fix it today even though they didn’t get the system through me.
Was going by today and
STS dialled in to 0.25bpa in wheat
When I come to your farm to perform harvest loss checks & then tune your settings I don’t have a bias on the brand of machine you have. I’m not there to try & sell you a combine, I’m there to help you get the most out of your existing machine.
Even though there’s no Ag Days this year at least the weather hasn’t forgotten what week it is. This is still one of my favourite units ever shown at the show!
Yes it’s Sunday, yes we answer the phone on Sundays. But if we aren’t the dealer who sold you your product with an issue or you don’t have a phone support plan or farm support plan we have a new policy starting effective immediately.
All new customers looking for phone support
Setting combines for the first boss I ever had in the ag machinery world. Started back working for their dealership back in high school and gained lots of valuable experience along the way.
16 years later I’m still in the ag world and enjoying every minute of it.
I get asked quite often the best way to use autoguidance with a grain cart to match combines for unloading on the go without line sharing/machine sync. This video explains my preferred method on a Pro 700/Intelliview 4. Maybe worth a try on your operation this harvest season.
Want to win some tickets to Ag in Motion next week?
Retweet and like this tweet.
10 tickets up for grabs (5 Twitter, 5 Facebook)
Draw date Friday July 14th
💥Attention WAAS users💥
WAAS PRN Satellite 133 will be down from April 30th until May 16th (of course right during Western Canadian seeding season).
Make sure you are running on PRN 135 or 131 to avoid signal downtime.
RT for awareness, thanks.
Customer phoned today who bought a GPS system & has been struggling with it since spring to make it steer proper. Called multiple dealers with no solution found. Got my # from a buddy & talked on phone for 1 min I told them what to do. Got a text 5 mins later “Works perfect now”
When you drive into a customers yard and the first thing they do is shake my hand and say “thank god you’re here”, that’s how I know I’m doing the right job in life.
Cheers to all the GPS gurus out there getting bombarded with calls about WAAS 138 going down today. Buy your local tech a drink tonight if you can, I’m sure they’ll need one after this day.
Here is a popular one! Trimble EZ Guide 500 and EZ Guide 250 WAAS 135 configuration. Lots of these units around and most run WAAS. Share this one around!

The Ez-Steer really has stood the test of time. I just realized today that this is the 20th year that it has been available. It’s not very often you see a piece of technology stay around for that many years, it’s quite impressive.
Have some spare Agtron hats kicking around so figure let’s do a X giveaway for a few of them and a few MY Precision Ag hats.

We look forward to all the coming years of finding solutions for our customers farms
Year 2 of MY Precision Ag in the books!
Thanks for all the support to my customers, family and friends over the last 2 years on this journey.
Very excited to get year 3 started tomorrow and for everything else the future holds.
Day 365 of business officially int the books! Hard to believe it’s been 1 year of MY Precision Ag already, time flies when you’re doing what you enjoy. Huge thanks to my family, friends and customers who have supported me over this first year. Many big things planned for year 2!
MY Precision Ag burning the midnight oil 7 days a week. Sundays are no different this time of the year, from drill start-ups to installs to hundreds of support call/texts. It’s been quite a week, lots accomplished and very grateful to be a part of this industry.
If you could convert an older air cart over to full sectional control, VR and turn compensation would you consider doing that over paying major $$$ to upgrade to a new or basically brand new cart to get the same features? Input is much appreciated.
Pretty cool to be at a trade show 10 hours from home and have people I’ve never met walk up me and ask “hey, are you Matt?”. Then proceed to buy beers as a thank you for the work we are doing in the ag industry. The ag industry truly is the best industry in the world to be in.
If you bought a brand new piece of machinery from a dealership and then had to pay someone else to come set it up and show you how to use it, or figure it out by yourself. Would you buy another piece of machinery from that dealership again?
