I just got records from a birth at a local teaching hospital. Instead of noting the sex of the baby, the paperwork says: “Gender assigned at birth” and the choices are “XX or XY.” Let me break down just how ridiculous this wording is.

@EpiEllie My mom was a mainstream nurs, definitely NOT a hippie. She took my brother and sister and I to the neighbor kid's house to catch chicken pox. We were locked in a room with him and had one cup of juice to share. We got chicken pox the next week. I remember it as an adventure.

They have no relationship to the mother other than a monetary one and this is their "new baby" picture. There is literally no reason for a hospital to waste a patient bed on these men
