and Raziya at the International Symposium conference:)
Their powerful works or leadership are the key to reaching the target and keeping so many displaced lives sane and are responses to challenges towards this unlivable condition. 🙌
My article on how
#Rohingya
childrens in camp have lost a generation for more than six years without books.
It's an important piece to call on government donors and humanitarian sectors to action for possible sources of education.

My interview at

Last Thursday, The International Court of Justice (ICJ) declined the Myanmar Junta’s request to grant a 10 month extension until February 2024 to file its case paperwork, “Counter-Memorial.”

and the support/attention that we need from the Government or international community. More to come soon!
On Jan 4th around 8pm BD time, a Rohingya community school teacher Faisel was killed by the unknown group in camp 4 Cox’s Bazar.
My questions to you:
Who is responsible for the regular murder?
Did the Authorities of Bangladesh have yet identified the killers?
An honor to meet with the
#Bangladesh
#Embassy

Great honor to have met with

Today on this world refugee day I remember the day I and along with million others were forced to be refugees in Bangladesh, and my prayers are for those still remained under Genocide, violence and atrocities in Burma. Working for displaced lives is my responsibility not my job:)
It's an honor for me to join over 50 PB from around the world for the first UN - CSO 2 days of dialogue on peacebuilding at the
@UNPeacebuilding

for your arrangement.
The government in Myanmar must build trust and ensure safety for Rohingya refugees, Bangladesh’s refugee commissioner has said following calls to suspend the community’s potential return to their homeland.
“ The United States has recognised the Rohingya situation as a "priority" and pledged to continue to increase the number of Rohingyas, including those from Bangladesh, resettled through the USRAP in fiscal 2024 “
I had the opportunity to attend the event at DePaul University and speak with their graduate students, professors and the team members on the Rohingya journey and represent
@Rohingyachicago

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has arranged for 355 Rohingya to be resettled in the US while 307 others are having applications verified, according to Bangladesh’s home ministry.
It has been confirmed by the Authority of Bangladesh that each Rohingya Refugee family willing to return to Myanmar Rakhine will be offered an amount of US$2,000

@SenJeffMerkley
I am with my friend
@NowkhimMd
in DC USA today ( It's so powerful to work together for the remaining people and share our experiences on Genocide in Arakan State Burma and the refugee life in Bangladesh to government officials and policy makers)
As always it was very nice seeing
@waiwainu
and listening to her remarks yesterday on the historical situation and the current dynamic movement in Burma at
@gwusigurcenter
Including how the future looks like for Rohingya and other ethnic minorities in the country
Had an honor of speaking in this panel at
@IRFSummit
along with
@akmoe2
and few other chin youth leaders on religious restriction, freedom of movement and the ongoing conflict for the ethnic minorities in
#Burma
. And more importantly work together on a long lasting solution.
Genocide didn't just end when more than 1 million of us fled to Bangladesh Cox's bazar, it is always a process. Still hundreds and thousands of our people including women and children are traveling to neighboring country Malaysia,
May Allah answer your prayers, accept your sacrifice and grant you forgiveness in this Mubarak occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha and let us not forget the people away from home.
Almost 6 years have now passed since we Rohingya were forced to flee our homes, but it is very sad not to see any changes in health, education, environment or living security. ( Ro's involvement in political levels and any decisions making is must, otherwise there's no solution)
Really shocked and upset hearing the daily kidnapping and murder of Cox's bazar
#camp
.
Where is the safe place for refugees if shelter isn't?
#Government
must do an investigation with full attention and pressure on the crimes.

Proud of my little brother
@YasinAr85036736
A huge congratulations ❤️👏
#Rohingya
are known for many reasons, due to lack of education, language etc. but their talents are never hidden, it just needs a chance to explore.
Just had a great meeting with the
#Bangladesh
#desk
at the state about their work to support Rohingya refugees in Southeast Asia and more broadly on the recent developments in
#Burma
Rakhine State.
My villager and relative Musa Khalil was shot by an unknown group of people around 4pm on 9th Sep in Camp 1 W. He is a very normal person who has 7 or more childrens.
How many more should be killed? People even don't have Refugee rights in CXB while they are displayed.
Genocide has never been ended for
#Rohingya
, we appreciate
#US
#government
for providing funding to displaced lives, it’s already too late for
#OiC
countries to show humanity. ( More assistance and support is must now to protect our people and improve the situation)
A massive congratulations to my younger brother Mubarak Kodor on being awarded a diploma from school:)
The transition is never easy, coming all the way from Asia to the USA and graduating within a short time. So proud to be their elder sister. ❤👏
“ Persecuting one ethnic minority’s religion means persecuting all of us. So, we should support each other and speak up together “
@waiwainu
speaks in the second day of
@IRFSummit
“A roadmap to protect refugees
Bangladesh should commit to the Global Compact on Refugees for the sake of both the Rohingya and the nation”
An important piece by

We will always remember Mr MohibUllah and the amazing works he has done over the past few years for the community.
The violence has no end and many more individuals are at risk today in camps. Government and UNHCR must work to ensure the security of every human rights defender.
Today, we remember Mohib Ullah, founder of the Arakan Rohingya Society for Peace and Human Rights.
He was tragically assassinated in his office in Coxs Bazar, Bangladesh, on September 29, 2021.
Threats to
#Rohingya
refugees and human rights defenders persist.
“Tens of thousands of civilians have been displaced in recent days by the fighting in
#Buthidaung
and
#Maungdaw
townships. An estimated 45,000 Rohingya have reportedly fled to an area on the Naf River near the border with Bangladesh , seeking protection”👇
Women and girls in the community receive fewer opportunities to educate themselves and are often the victims of all acts of violences. Young people are the future of a country and society, let’s open the door for all and make it safe.

and appreciate your continued fights for your family, community & country on ensuring basic rights for all, everywhere and at all time.
#HumanRightsDay
Myanmar’s military wants the world to believe it will soon repatriate Rohingya refugees, but their fate seems a diminishing priority amid US, Chinese, ASEAN and other interests at play.
Are you trying to express how you took a part in commmiting Genocide to Rohingya in Burma?
This is such a Genocidal game that you are promoting here. It makes clear sense that you aren’t different from the terrorist.
You are proving here how Genocide is a process and a plan:(
As immediate neighbors, it is a fact that the Arakanese (Rakhine) ppl reside in Bangladesh as Bangladeshi citizens and there are ethnic Bengali citizens in Myanmar vice versa. However, some irrational individuals refuse to acknowledge the presence of Bengali ppl living in Arakan.
Congratulations
#friends
on being recognized for the 2023 UNHCR refugee

🌪Danger Signal 10 has been declared in Cox’s Bazar.
3⃣ warning flags – the highest warning signal – have been hoisted in the camps and neighbouring areas.
" Only TeleTalk SIM to be sold in Rohingya camps"
The government-owned mobile operator, Teletalk, will provide a single SIM to each family of displaced Myanmar nationals residing in Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
All the armed groups in Burma must be held accountable for all the crimes, attacks, forced recruitment and arrest against the Rohingya. Whoever is the authority in the state is responsible for all atrocities. Rohingya are now the target of both parties:(

in the war. There is no safe place for them to hide, Bangladesh must play its role and feel responsible for all the crimes committed against Rohingya these days.
Alarm is growing over the World Food Programme’s (WFP) plan to cut food aid to hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees living in camps in Bangladesh because of a severe shortfall in funding.
"Junta navy officials have arrested 226 Rohingya fleeing Myanmar by boat since Oct. 27, communities in western Myanmar told Radio Free Asia. They were attempting to escape to Malaysia and Thailand"

Hundreds of youths are under high risk, it’s even hard for the international community and others to protect refugees while the host government and authorities support the crime and forced recruitment. All the parties in camps must stop forcing people to go to Burma just now.

Moving conversation with resettled Rohingya refugee & advocate Lucky Karim. 🇺🇸 👏 your tireless efforts to improve conditions for Rohingya in Cox’s Bazar & remains committed to supporting the Rohingya community, including $2.2B+ in humanitarian assistance since 2017.
A very heart touching message from Head Majhi MD Hussain in camp 9 Balukhali:(
" I was shot by some unknown members, and I still have pain but since then I kept receiving the regular threats and aren't letting me stay home so I am seeking justice from all of you "
The promise of a better life in a foreign land has long been a lure for many. But for some, this dream turns into a nightmare when they become targets of human-trafficking syndicates.

On 15 November, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom filed a joint declaration of intervention in the case brought by The Gambia against Myanmar at the International Court of Justice.

A 15 year old Rohingya lady was taken away from her home and sexually abused by unknown groups in camps. And had to pay a large amount for her release.
Please DM for more info and if you can donate help her and the family with needs including emergency relocation.

The United States is deeply troubled by the reports of increased violence and intercommunal tension in Rakhine State, including reports of towns being burned and residents, including Rohingya, being displaced.
The Bangladesh gov should do active monitoring on the security forces in the camps, they are supposed to protect the refugees day-to-night and are responsible for any crimes against families or individuals during their duty. (Enough security is-needed)
The US committed to helping Bangladesh resolve Rohingya crisis.
The US is actively engaged in restoring democracy in Myanmar and finding a solution to the Rohingya crisis, says the official.
