I CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT IT!🥲
My debut graphic novel Cowgirls & Dinosaurs: Big Trouble in Little Spittle is coming out this September from
@RazorbillBooks
🦖🦕🤠
Pre-orders help a lot (and so does ordering from your local independent bookshop)
A trope in cartoons that really bugged me as a kid was when two animal characters had kids, and the girls looked like the mother and the boys looked like the father
It's so lame and lazy and I'm pretty sure that's not how genetics work
Hey this is really embarrassing but I only just realised that these are actually two different characters in Devilman Crybaby
I watched the whole series so confused lol
Had to call up the doctor? The tax man? Work? Mental health stuff? Then buddy, you deserve a sticker! It's hard out there and you were real brave! ☎️💦 This little guy is now on my shop!
Okay so I've been doing research for A Thing and found out that there used to be a theory that the Parasaurolophus could BREATHE. FIRE. and I have some editing to do
Since I kinda did my soft public coming-out with my recent valentines card to my gf, here's the only 6 pages of an autobio mini comic from 2018 that I have no real time to go back to (and got too scared to work on/post online) featuring a very 2013 Ebes
🏳️🌈💦
(Part 1 of 2)
(Part 2 of 2)
The metaphors here are crude and overly simplified, but this exchange, silly as it is, really helped me at the time.
And me and
@IzziWard
(who features in this comic) still quote it to this day
So yeah!
Glad I got to finally post this in some form haha
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
It's Not Unusual
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy
Seeing all the insights and stories of fellow comic artists tonight has broken my heart open.
For years I thought I was just a slow, bad artist who wasn’t working hard enough, who must be difficult and lazy and not passionate because I couldn’t get 200+ pages done in 5 months.
When I was a kid playing The Sims, I thought it was weird that they'd sometimes just stop when they'd finished a task to cry into their hands for a moment.
But now I'm like "ah, mood"
This photo of me at 7 years old dressed as Spider-Man whilst wearing my aunt’s boots gives out such a dark energy
but is absolutely what I’d use as an artist photo if I ever got a gig at Marvel
Cool new fashion trend for pet owners!
Passive aggressive accessories for your four-legged friend!
Get the message across without the agonising trauma of being known and unloading your pithy complaints directly!
Hey REAL TALK but if I were to do a Kickstarter to restock my HECK pin AS WELL AS putting into production my GOSH pin and potentially another design if I got enough funding, would y'all actually for serious be down for it as a backer?
I know I’m being grandma-no-fun but all the Wreck It Ralph princess promo stuff and how the movie is actively revelling in how scarily big and property devouring Disney has become just has me all
Do you ever get so starved for new faces 8 months into quarantine that your house collectively becomes obsessed with the 3-legged cat who lives on your street, and then you personally make an effigy of said cat out of salt dough?
Anyway...
Spending quarantine drawing a silly comic about finding a baby during the apocalypse
Here’s some sneaky peaks
(I’m not really scripting it - just winging it to make it have a more loose feel)
Hey, I'm a big dummy and forgot this shirt design from last freakin' year that I never put into production because I'm SILLY
So, this guy is coming to a torso near you SOON
Oh dang hi
