I have just announced my intention to introduce some flexibility to school starting age & my officials will start the policy work to underpin this. Currently there is no way of deferring entry into Primary school & this must be addressed especially for premature children.

The decision by the SDLP to postpone their spring conference today as a mark of respect to Christopher Stalford is an act of decency to be commended. Christopher drew respect across the spectrum-any time I ran into then Cllr Mary Durkan she would always ask “how’s Stalfie doing?”

At the moment in Sydney, you can buy a ticket at the VIP table for a seat at a dinner with Mary-Lou McDonald for 2000 euros, or for the same cost you cam buy 277 Big Mac Meals in McDonalds in Sydney. Remember that the next time we are all lectured by Sinn Fein on costs of living
