BRAIDWOOD TO NELLIGEN: The Kings Hwy is closed in both directions between Narranghi Rd and Reid St due to bushfires. Araluen Rd is also closed. Use either the Princes Hwy north of Batemans Bay, or the Princes Hwy, Snowy Mountains Hwy via Bega and Cooma as alternative routes.
PERISHER VALLEY: Car parks at Perisher Valley have reached capacity. Kosciuszko Rd at Alpine Way is closed toward Perisher; motorists travelling toward Perisher are being turned back at the closure point. Avoid the area.
DORRIGO MOUNTAIN: Waterfall Way is closed in both directions btwn Little North Arm Rd & Maynards Plains Rd due to flooding. The Gwydir Hwy & Oxley Hwy can be used as alternative routes to travel btwn the Pacific Hwy & New England Hwy. Allow approx 2 hrs extra travel time.
The Princes Hwy is still closed btwn South Nowra & Milton due to bushfires. It is also closed between Batemans Bay & Moruya, Cobargo & Brogo, Narrabarba & the Victorian border. Avoid these areas.
Bushfire closures: WILTON TO MARULAN, the Hume Mwy /Hwy is closed between Picton Rd and Marulan. Also SUTTON FOREST TO MOSS VALE, Illawarra Hwy is closed between Hume Hwy and Moss Vale Rd (Nowra Rd). Avoid the area.
WOODBURN TO WOOMBAH: The Pacific Hwy is closed between Woodburn-Coraki Rd and Iluka Rd. Divert via Gwydir, New England and Bruxner hwys - allow at least 3.5 extra hrs travel time.
CAMERON PARK: M1 Pacific Mwy northbound off-ramp to Newcastle Link Rd eastbound remains closed due to the wide load on this truck shifting. Use George Booth Dr & Cameron Park Dr. You can still access the Hunter Exp westbound.

MILTON to TOMERONG: motorists are once again being escorted through the previously closed zone on the Princes Hwy, but conditions can change at short notice, so the escorts may be intermittent.
YASS: Both directions are closed on the Hume Hwy near Yass Valley Way due to a grass fire. Emergency services are on site trying to contain the fire. Heavy traffic in both directions, expect delays. Check for updates.
KOSCIUSZKO NATIONAL PARK: Take care on the roads and drive to the conditions. You'll need chains on Kosciuszko Rd from Thredbo River to Perisher. Kosciuszko Rd is closed past Perisher. There's also snow on the Snowy Mts Hwy from Coomba to Adaminaby.
NORTH BATEMANS BAY TO NOWRA: The Princes Hwy is now OPEN. Traffic is very heavy with significant delays being experienced. Thick smoke may be affecting visibility so drive to the conditions & have your headlights on. Other roads closed in the area:
GERRINGONG TO KIAMA: Princes Hwy remains closed northbound btwn Rose Valley Rd & Kiama due to a landslide. Diversions from Batemans Bay: Kings Hwy to Hume Hwy at Goulburn. This route is suitable for all vehicles including B-doubles. Avoid the area, delay non-essential travel
BARRENGARRY MOUNTAIN: Moss Vale Rd remains closed between Bunkers Hill Rd and Myra Vale Rd. Crews are on site working to reopen the rd as soon as possible.

BELL TO LITHGOW: Chifley Rd is closed in both directions btwn Bells Line Of Road & Hartley Valley Road due to snow. Westbound motorists are being diverted onto the Darling Causeway. Use diversions, allow extra travel time, exercise caution & drive to the conditions.

EATONSVILLE to BALD NOB: The Gwydir Hwy remains closed btwn Tindal Rd and Bald Nob Rd due to a bushfire. Take the Bruxner Hwy or Waterfall Way instead.

ORANGE: Roads around Orange continue to be affected by snow & ice. Continue to exercise extreme care. Check road conditions before travelling. Be prepared & equipped for sudden changes in road and weather conditions.
COORANBONG: 1 of 2 southbound lanes of the M1 Pacific Mwy is still closed as the clean up continues after an earlier fire in a truck carrying potatoes. Allow extra travel time and watch for crews on site.
LAKE CONJOLA and BENDALONG: Emergency services are escorting motorists towards the Princes Hwy on Lake Conjola Entrance Rd and Bendalong Rd, although they remain closed to any traffic trying to enter.
NARRANDERA TO COOMA: The Harvey Hay Run set out from Western Australia on the weekend and is due into Cooma on Wed evening. Road trains will be operating under escort, and will use Sturt Hwy, Hume Hwy, Barton Hwy, Federal Hwy, Majura Pkwy & Monaro Hwy. Exercise caution.
GOULBURN: All northbound lanes are closed on the Hume Hwy at Hume St due to a bushfire. Diversion via Hume St and through the Goulburn township. Avoid the area. Delay all non-essential travel.
WOLLOGORANG (SOUTH OF GOULBURN): 1 of 2 southbound lanes is closed on the Federal Hwy due to flooding at Wollogorang Rd. A reduced speed limit of 40km/h is also in place. Take care, drive to the conditions and remember to never drive through floodwater.
GLENUGIE: The Pacific Hwy is closed in both directions at Franklins Rd due to a bushfire. You can use Big River Way & Orara Way instead, in both directions. This diversion is not suitable for B-Doubles. Take care, drive to the conditions & allow plenty of extra travel time.
WISEMANS FERRY TO MANGROVE MOUNTAIN: Wisemans Ferry Rd/Settlers Rd remains closed between Central MacDonald and George Downes Dr due to bushfire. Additionally, the Wisemans Ferry service has been suspended. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The Pacific Hwy is now open in both directions. There is still smoke in the area and emergency crews are working at locations along the highway. Exercise caution, allow extra travel time and drive to the conditions.
WOODBURN TO WOOMBAH: The Pacific Hwy has closed again btwn Woodburn-Coraki rd and Iluka Rd due to a bushfire. Avoid the area. Detour via Summerland Way.
MARRANGAROO: The Great Western Hwy is now open in both directions between Reserve Rd and Barton Ave however the highway is now closed between Mount Victoria and Hartley.

WEST OF BEMBOKA: The Snowy Mountains Hwy remains closed in both directions on Brown Mountain due to a landslide. Work to remove the boulders will resume today, but there is no forecast for when the road will reopen. Delay your journey.
BLACKHEATH TO LITTLE HARTLEY: Great Western Hwy closing around 6pm for back-burning. No diversion available as Bells Line of Rd remains closed between Kurrajong Heights and Bell. Delay all travel though the Blue Mountains as there is no access btwn Sydney and Western NSW.
CASINO TO MOUNTAIN VIEW (NEAR GRAFTON): Summerland Way is closed in both directions btwn Ellangowan Rd & Clarence Way due to a bush fire. Avoid the area.
MILTON TO TOMERONG: the Princes Hwy has re-opened northbound between Corks Lane and Island Point Rd. There is still traffic queued so motorists not already on the road could delay travel a little longer.
BLACKHEATH: Bushfire has closed Govetts Leap Rd at Connaught Rd, as well as Hat Hill Rd at Clearview Rd. Residents are being evacuated and motorists are advised to avoid the area unless leaving.
UPDATE: Snow is continuing to fall & is now impacting Kosciuszko Rd between Jindabyne and Charlotte Pass. Continue to exercise caution if you must travel through the area.
PRINCES HIGHWAY: The Princes Hwy remains closed btwn Falls Creek & Milton, btwn Batemans Bay & Moruya, btwn Brogo & Tilba Tilba, and btwn Narrabarba & Cann River (Victoria). Avoid these areas. Keep checking the latest conditions at .
GLENUGIE: The Pacific Hwy is now closed in both directions btwn Franklins Rd & Kungala Rd due to this bushfire. Diversion in both directions via Big River Way & Orara Way is not suitable for B-Doubles. Drive to the conditions & allow plenty of extra travel time.
All southbound lanes of the Federal Hwy are now closed. If you want to travel to Canberra, continue on the Hume Hwy to Yass then us the Barton Hwy. This diversion is suitable for all vehicles & will add an extra 20 mins of travel time.
SNOWY MOUNTAINS; Slow down and take extra care on roads including Kosciuszko Rd due to snow and ice. Chains are needed in some areas so check before you travel.
FALLS CREEK TO MILTON: The Princes Hwy is open again with a reduced speed limit. The highway has also reopened in Conjola/Fishermans Paradise now that a fallen power pole has been removed from the road. Many local roads still closed in the area.
SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE: All lanes reopened after earlier police operation. Lengthy delays continue on all approaches so stay away or allow plenty of extra travel time.
MICHELAGO TO BREDBO: The Monaro Hwy is closed in both directions between Micalago Rd and North St due to a bushfire. There is no suitable diversion at this stage, so delay your trip. There is no forecast for when the highway will reopen. Check for updates.
