No but lets be real for a second, we do have a working demo, yes you could play it if you really wanted to, however it doesn't have sound unfortunately.
So, we finally have a video showing how its gonna play out. Simple, right? You might have noticed that the UI is bland and boring compared to what we've showed in the past. Well, we used the old-old UI as a placeholder for this video. So, what happened to the UI we've shown you?

A while ago he had an art contest in the discord server which many decided to enter.
A user named BalderDash won the art contest and wow, it's almost scary that they managed to draw Mae and Bea veeery similar to our style.
Heyo and happy Friday! Here's a quick little update on things:
First of, our dialogue system is fully working. We can now choose to have 2, 3, or 5 dialogue options up on screen for people to choose (as well as a near little animation for the notebook popping up)
A while ago (back in December) we had an art contest with the theme being of course winter. It was a tight race between 2 members, but unfortunately only had to win. Here's Discord user Abocado's submission that won the art contest!

Unity will soon charge devs per-install after a certain threshold. I'd like to express my concerns regarding privacy (tracking installs/downloads), preservation and changing the whole business model while devs are using the engine for their projects. ๐ซค

Here's an update on where we're at. Slowly but surely.
Wondering about the demo? We're currently stuck on composing side of things, and additionally we still need to work on the kitchen bg that needed to be redrawn.
Similar to Night in the Woods, we'll have quite a few scenes taking place inside someone's car, either be Mae, Bea, or Angus.
Expect heavy car banter between the group!

1) On a serious note, we're almost done planning Mae's route and we've begun planning Bea's route! Bea's route might take a bit longer than Mae's to plan out and as stated before, we REALLY want to get the characters right and Bea is by far no exception to this rule.

Another quick update:
Our newest writer, Kodiak, has begun working on the Lori Route as well rewriting the introduction to the game to make it a more clear and refined.
Wiess and Raschu are continuing to brainstorm and compose snipits for other routes like Gregg/Angus + Lori.
So we may have shared a few storyboard snippets for Mae's demo to a few people and its safe to say its looking pretty good! Though we unexpectedly made a few people sad when shown the bad ending for it. Whoops!
