Major respect for Third Party Developers and their hardwork but I must admit, Last of Us 2 running on “1.84 TF (GCN)” outperforms them all and they supposed to be running on “12.1 TF (Navi)”. I know they were early built and they’re still in development. Overall, PS5 Day 1!! ✊🏼🥁

Patent filed by Sony, aka Mark Cerney himself, states that PS5 has “SIMD” (Single Instruction Multiple Data) implemented into each IPC (Instruction Per Clock). Means that PS5’s GPU/CPU (APU) can execute more than 2 instructions per cycle. 👀

First & foremost, PS5’s GPU is not a boost mode (even @digitalfoundry stated). Secondly, PS5’s GPU/CPU is based off the “Power Supply”. Therefore, it operates on “workload” rather than fixed frequency. With workload, it’s frequency fluctuate. Resulting in more efficiency. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

As @cerny mentioned, the frequency will drop on the CPU or the GPU, depending on where the power is allocated. But that does not mean, it’s going to drop to 9TF. The power supply already capped at 3.5Ghz CPU & 2.23Ghz GPU. And yes, there times both can be run simultaneously. 🤷🏼‍♂️✅

Let me fix this. As time goes on, CPU demands in games will Increase. Using SmartShift, developers will push more wattage to PS5s CPU over its GPU. This will reduce that 10.2TF best case down into the 9TF range. Also, this whole argument is just really dumb. Like, holy shit lol

Some are on a bandwagon of claiming PS5 is RDNA 1.5. It’s all matter of how you translate the article. Sony and AMD already came forward and confirmed, its RDNA2 with custom features. With Custom, it’s lacking some RDNA2 features, but Sony implemented some of their own in return.

Unbelievable, the amount of hate by some of these fanboys are out of control for Sony and its PS5. Especially, when @Sony itself confirms that it’s “RDNA 2” and so is the Head of AMD. Arguing with individuals of such, would be arguing with a 12 year old. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️✅ 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

I’m hearing some rumors that Sony might finally give us another update regarding PlayStation 5. The potential update could be as soon as Next Wednesday August 26th, with the unveiling of New Call of Duty. 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ Again, take it with grain of salt. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

There is more than just teraflops, which @RedGamingTech and some others been beating on since the beginning. Also, it’s too early to predict how they’ll suit up against one another in a long run because, with time, developers be taking advantage of both.. **Remember that 4.2TF**

Some, that are making a big deal about PS5 not having an “Infinity Cache”. Short & simple: My question is how come the 10.3TF Variable (or shall I say, “9.2TF”) is outperforming its competition at 12.1TF? Exactly! Some are just looking for an excuse to gain some fans/views.

According to Digital Foundry in ‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’ next gen patch analysis; there is a small advantage in overall clarity for SeriesX (You have to look 800% zoomed in to catch it) but #PS5 remains the best version to play because of it’s up to over 10fps advantage!

With respect my friend, the reason the PlayStation 5 cannot input the display at 120FPS is because due to the limitation set by the PS4/Pro. Another word, it’s an invalid post. (It’s a cross gen-game) 🤷🏼‍♂️✅

Just a side note, when we say, “PS5 has some RDNA 3 features”. What we actually mean is that PS5 has some additional custom features built into its GPU (e.g. GPU Cache Scrubbers). That in the future, it might be part of RDNA 3 (which is up to AMD). Most RDNA2 + Custom Features
