@kaydaustin @KathyHoldshope When I was diagnosed with Cancer, the casino my husband worked for in Las Vegas allowed other employees to donate their PTO time so he could go to dr appts, surgery and chemo with me. He never missed a single dr appt, chemo or radiation treatment in five years of treatment.

About 2 weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. Today I thought he was having a stroke so I called 911. They found out he also has a brain tumor. 😢 he was admitted and now we go through a bunch of tests to see if it’s spread more. Please keep him in your prayers.

My husband, my best friend, the love of my life was moved into a hospice for his final days. At least I can see him any time I want, 24/7. Even stay the night if I choose. But he’ll never come home. Never hold my hand, or tell me he loves me. Never watch a football game w/ me.

Three dead in the shooting at UNLV in Las Vegas. 😢 My grandson goes there and I haven’t heard if he’s safe or not. No one’s answering the phone and the police aren’t releasing names of victims or shooter yet. 😢 I’m a nervous wreck right now.

In January 2020, we came back from Portland, Oregon with both of us really sick with what we thought was a bad flu. I kicked it after a couple weeks but Jim never quite got his strength back. He’d come home from work at 2 pm and go straight to bed.

@drclairetaylor He got weaker and weaker till he couldn’t swallow and had to have a feeding tube inserted. I watched my big strong husband who never got sick, lose 50 lbs in 5 months, become unable to walk, feed himself and have hallucinations. There is SO much more to Covid than we know.

@SarahSevans2000 A 24 year old will eat that much food in a WEEK. Not to mention water for showers, laundry etc., and electricity. My grandsons dad is paying 600.00 a month for a 4 person dorm room. PLUS meal plan. Your request was more than reasonable.

It had a rubber case on it and it didn’t slip of the rubber bumper. I called it, left a message and driver dropped it off next morning.

Thank you all for your prayers. I have talked to him and he is ok, he was off campus when this happened. He’s a bit shaken up because he had friends on campus. But he’s ok, and my heart rate has returned to almost normal. Prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones 😢

I’ve been asked what courses I will take. Of course there are prerequisites I’ll have to take & I’ll also take criminal Justice and political science, writing and research skills. I really wasn’t doing it for a specific degree, let’s face it I’m not going to start a new career.

Well I got the call today. I’ve been approved for my new house! Closing date is May 1st. I’m kind of sad/happy right now. Wishing Jim could be celebrating with me, but knowing he had a hand in it all. ❤️ I’ve got to get a home inspection, but it’s a done deal!

@drclairetaylor Early in the pandemic my husband developed encephalitis and had to have brain surgery. They traced the infection to the Covid virus. He subsequently got pneumonia, and because he had lung cancer also, he grew too weak to fight it off. After 6 months of treatment he passed away.

I lost my husband aug 4 after several months in the hospital. He and I were together 21 wonderful years. I didn’t just lose my life partner. I lost my dreams, my future, half of me. A life we had built together was shattered in a moment. Nothing will ever be the same again.

@SiennaReed8 I’m not sad about being 68 yrs old. I’m sad because I won’t have the love of my life to grow old with me. And the chance of me ever having someone again is slim to none. I don’t like being alone all the time but I can’t imagine ever loving someone like that again.
