🇨🇦Brothers, age 7 and 10, perform CPR to save grandmother in cardiac arrest👏 These two young boys knew #CPR and with guidance from the 🚑 dispatcher carried out chest compressions for 10 minutes until the paramedics arrived & saved their grandmother. 💔⤵️

My parents fought for Britain during WWll, my father in the RAF, my mother in the ATS Signal Corps. They met and married in the midst of it all and lived into their 90’s and 80’s respectively. Their altruism, strength and perseverance has been a continual inspiration. #VEDay2020

Well it had to happen. Two things we’ve managed to avoid, Covid for three years and still are. However our efforts to avoid using an air fryer, went out of the window this Christmas thanks to our son and grandson! He tells us it will be life changing. 🙈😂

Every secondary school in Scotland to teach #CPR 💔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 This is life-saving news for everyone across Scotland. If someone collapses with a cardiac arrest it will be Increasingly likely that there will be a bystander nearby to help revive them.

“I’m a Cardiac Nurse, and I Ignored My Heart Attack Symptoms for 6 Days”💔 A heart attack can occur at any age to anyone at any time. Never dismiss signs of a heart attack. Chest/jaw/arm pressure, pain discomfort, nausea, sweating, lightheaded are common.

12-year-old 🇺🇸girl uses CPR to save baby brother who fell in septic tank. 'Dispatchers instructed the girl on how to give #CPR to her brother. She was able to clear the boy's airway & begin chest compressions.' This is why CPR should be taught in schools

We grew a potato plant from one from a bag we bought at the supermarket and it has produced these whoppers totalling 2.5kg/5 lb 8 oz! 🥔🌱😊

@ww2finesthour @sallyacb275 My father was in the RAF. He was a navigator in Lancasters flying mainly over the North Sea and Scandinavian coast. He ended up in the Medical Services before demobilisation at the end of the World War II.

My brother had to have his beloved ‘Gus’, age 17, put down today. The old boy was like a member of the family and loved by all. He’d visit my father at the nursing home and brought him such joy. We will miss him sorely..

“Grandad only survived heart attack because he was at Old Firm clash”💔 “They did #CPR on his chest there & then — it cracked his ribs. He’s feeling very lucky.” After his heart re-started he was taken to the @JubileeHospital Cardiac catheterisation lab.

‘When his teammate stopped breathing, this teen helped save his life.’ They knew and started #CPR using an #AED quickly 💔 “There was no down time for Jake. We had compressions immediately, and I had the AED on him within a minute." A life was saved.

Met a friend today that I don’t see too often. Discovered that they’d had a cardiac arrest a few months ago and survived as spouse knew #CPR . Living remotely they had no nearby AED and had to continue CPR until paramedics arrived with an #AED .💔 Ensure your community has one.

If you witness someone collapse from a Cardiac Arrest don’t hesitate to act. Every moment matters and starting #CPR quickly, using a defibrillator are vital for any hope of them surviving. 💔 ⤵️

In the event of a #cardiacarrest here's something to think about. Anyone can use a defibrillator #aed Simply, open the lid and or switch it on. It'll tell you what to do from there. Don't know where one is......look out for these signs. #AEDsSaveLives
