Look, I am all for non-Scousers supporting Liverpool, and in fact, welcome it. But if you support the club, and slag-off the city or its people, that's where I draw the line. Fuck off, we don't want you.
@dublin_damo
I always wanted to be a Dad and never thought it would happen at the age of 32, and was a contributory reason why I attempted suicide, because at the time was a pure mess and was still at home. A day after my 39th birthday I became a Dad, and is one of the best things to happen.

When you say there were non-Liverpool fans, it think it was state-sponsored to the extent the SAS were involved, and were there to produce a flash point. The appetite was there for the Tories to make Liverpool scapegoats.
@MaryKenny4
It has become apparent that aside of older people, poor people also provide burden on the capitalist class, and it seems society wants rid of both.

@MaiaDunphy
There's a big, big over-correlation of being Jewish and Israeli, that's gone on a long time, and a lot of that comes from Israelis themselves. If you rightly condemn what Israel is doing, it is seen as antisemitic when it is not. A nation's politics doesn't determine a religion.
@yelittlejedi
You're somewhat right. People hate us because they've been fed lies about us constantly, and it's a case that if you cast a lie often enough, it becomes the truth. It's only English people that do it.
@sscjusa
I only got round to watching it for the first time either last Holy Thursday or Good Friday, the night before my initiation in to the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass. Totally loved it and rued why I hadn't seen it before. I plan to do the same this Holy week.
@Red_Scouser1892
I couldn't possibly support a nation that was complicit in killing one of my best mates, covered it up, and tried to lay blame on him in his own death. I also couldn't support a nation that hates you and, at the very least, mocks for those killings. It defies any normal logic.
I'm hoping the tunes of
@AnTaobhTuathail
with the fellow Red
@COCiobh
will cheer me up a wee bit, and give the beers some joyful meaning. No doubt hurting like us all.
It may not be bank holiday, but I've finished work a few minutes early 'to get my bus' (it beats standing), but I am now officially on annual leave. Ibiza, here we come.
I don't know if it's all end of season and nothing to play for, but putting sentiment aside, I do honestly think it's all gone a bit stale with Liverpool.
@DrUmarAlQadri
Sorry to hear. I hope you make a full and speedy recovery. I don't know what is wrong with society these days, I know it was heading that way, but it seems to have worsened since COVID.
As it's the 5 year anniversary of the Barça night. I'm reminded also by that I got home from scattering my Da's ashes at Aintree the day before, and had a dodgy pint of Guinness at the Nethy with my cousin, before getting my flight back to Ireland. I'd felt like shit all day.
Glad of that win tonight. I was having a bit of a shit day with my head - not particularly with mood, more in a physiological sense as I've often done since fracturing my skull 15 months ago.
I had my fill of alcohol while I was away and wanted to have a bit of a break. It's Friday night, and I feel the need now to have a bevvy. I haven't drank since Tuesday night, is that enough of a break?
I would have been watching
#TheResponder
tonight, but there's something more important to watch, relating to Dublin's equivalent of Hillsborough.

Look, not every Jew or Israeli supports what Israel is doing, but there is probably a big mindset that what Israel is doing is justified. While we can rightly oppose what Israel is doing, not all criticism can be justified as antisemitism - which is used at every opportunity.
@dublin_damo
I'm sorry I never got to have more than the one I have now. I hope there's still the possibility it happens for you, because there's not a lot better than passing Liverpool off to your offspring.
I've just had my watch of
#BernardHillRIP
in
#BoysoftheBlackstuff
- not just his episode, but the original one also. I've thought that for a long time, he played an embodiment of the fortunes of Liverpool, which are still true today - more so his own episode. The other characters
@YNWAANDY28
I was in the same situation in 2007, and life was pretty shit for me. You may feel that no one thinks of you, and people might tell you otherwise, but you might be right. I was. I took myself over to Ireland, and although things went down further for me, they also took a long
@TFHBs
This is one of the best goals ever. Perhaps it was hit and hope, perhaps it was meant? Either way it was a great goal. I remember Shevchenko scoring something similar for Dinamo Kiev.
@DrUmarAlQadri
I almost fully agree. I don't condone what Hamas have done - I'll make that clear, but I can understand their actions for the way Israelis treat Palistinians, and a lot of that is being lost in the ether.
@LFCJakey_
People who support either of the clubs and are apathetic to the city and its people are not wanted. Only in for their own personal gains, just like the people that were there before and fucking off afterwards.

Of course I don't specifically per se. No one would as it would be top secret, but I've read that the SAS have been involved in "nasty political suff", and something like that would perfectly fit the bill.
