The hospital chaplain was able to get ahold of local elders who just came and gave me an anointed blessing of healing, peace, and comfort. I love this church. I love the priesthood. I am in so much pain and alone from family but I am absolutely being watched and blessed.

My daughter and I are in the middle of listening to The Two Towers and we have watched the movies many times as a family. She makes a great little Éowyn! I made my Arwen dress. Husband and I both made his Aragorn outfit. I handmade and thrifted and altered the Éowyn costume.

Many will take the new For the Strength of Youth pamphlet to be a green light to abandon all standards they once felt forced to hold for no reason. Many will errenously treat it this way and that's their choice. However, I am excited to see how much stronger this will make many.

@thekwakuel @PCBehavioral I don't even remember most of the eval. Because I was on a cocktail of meds, including pain meds and benadryl, to try and get my health and exposure to new medications under control. The only thing I remember is them asking me to spell "world" backwards outloud.

@Laurathecellist But the same could be true to your testimony - that started this. No one cares what you believe to be true without evidence. Asserting something to be true repeatedly doesnt make it true. Evidence does and in this case all the evidence proves its a fraud.

The Adventist church I play cello with prays almost every time I am there for Christ's return to be soon. I feel a lot of unity with these people. We have our differences, but our similarities are profound and far greater than our differences. IMO.

Our ward is starting a 40-day fast next week for missionary work in our area. Families and classes and individuals are asked to sign up for a single day to fast in the 40-day window. As one fast ends, another will begin consecutively within the ward.

One of my favorite things about studying the Old Testament this year is just how real and close-to-home these stories are becoming. It all truly happened. Same with The Book of Mormon. Reading them feels relatable and instills love for those who have gone before and people now.

I love the Plan of Salvation. I love our Savior. I love the restoration. I love what Joseph Smith did for us. I love Adam and Eve. I am so, so glad I have the knowledge of all of these things. It's all beautiful.
