Everybody should visit
@AuschwitzMuseum
once in their lifetime. There are absolutely no words to describe this time in history but every guide there, every person working to continue preserving the memories of those murdered does such an incredible and important job.
I love my job. Hearing people smile during a difficult time because of the love and support they get is something special.
Thank you

I am SO proud to be an ambassador for
@HerGameToo
and my home club.
I've always been a Cov girl, always will be, and although we shouldn't have to do this, it's still huge to be part of the campaign against sexism in football & sport

#HerGameToo
I have cried so much today. Six out of the eight hours of my shift I’ve shed tears.
I feel pretty numb. My role on the women’s football team has been cut, as has the secondment I’ve been on.
The future is petrifying but I’m a big believer everything happens for a reason.
Can us City fans take a minute to applaud
@mark_hornby
and the entire social/comms team at
@Coventry_City
. The tweets have been incredible, the wit, the humour and pure brilliant content👏🏻

Delighted and proud to announce I’m going to be the new Women’s Football Social Media Producer for Reach ⚽️
I’m so excited to grow our audience, creating a bigger profile for women’s football and giving it the coverage it deserves.
This last week I’ve struggled with my mental health more than I have in a while, but being back up the CBS just took it all away. All the anxiety and low mood left me. This club and team is more than just football, it’s an escape.
Last night was just something else 🩵
EXCLUSIVE: Asda and J Sainsbury are in talks about a £10bn merger that will send shockwaves through Britain’s retail industry. Full story on
@SkyNews
shortly.
@jessbakersmith
Vile this. Absolutely vile.
Pleasantly surprised at the comments too, it’s a shame Liam Smith hasn’t moved with the times like everybody else.
It’s been a tough 48 hours for colleagues at Reach. I’ve seen some horrendous comments in response to the jobs at risk.
There are people behind these jobs, livelihoods and families - be kind.
Sending love to anyone going through it right now x
Bloody hell this is low.
Of course there is weekend drop to take into consideration like
@ProfKarolSikora
said. But even for that, these numbers are very low indeed!
15 reported fatalities today. Of course, there is the weekend caveat but that number is significantly lower than what we have seen in the past.
Very encouragingly new infections have finally fallen below 1000 (958), especially after recent events.
Progress.
Its takes a lot of flipping guts to admit you’re struggling. That you don’t know how to take each hour let alone day by day.
I’m struggling. Not sure how to take each hour. The fear, the big black hole I’m in just seems endless. All coping tips welcome
#mentalhealthawareness
This is me. Curvy.
I will be battling demons to tell myself I’m good enough - no matter my dress size. Nobody should try to change you or your weight. Words have harmed me and my MH but my support system is strong.
As Joey would say - “I’m curvy and I like it!”
I wasn’t going to waste my breath talking about you know who’s abhorrent sexist comments earlier this week. However, I remember being a young journalist wanting to break into sports journalism - and thinking I had every barrier in my way.

For all young girls everywhere. Those who are still young now, and the little girls within us watching
#Lionesses
make history, it really is
@HerGameToo
and football is for everyone ❤️⚽️
🗞️ Today marks my last day at Reach after almost eight years.
I’m so grateful for everybody I’ve worked with over the years who helped me go from a trainee reporter to an editor.
My proudest moment has to be leading our coverage for the Women’s World Cup over the summer…
🙋🏼♀️ I’m now looking for work!
📱I have experience in social media, writing and editing, specialising in women’s football. I’ve got more strings to my bow, including a passion for solo travel.
💻 Please get in touch for my CV and to chat!
Please also share with your contacts🙏🏻
.
@HerGameToo
is the reason I’ve been getting up in the morning recently.
I’m beyond proud of this and to part of something so incredible and important 💙
This year has been the toughest of my life, but to make it through and get up day after day, that’s something.
I’m now super bloody proud to say I’ve also been nominated for a Midlands Media Award 🙌🏻
No matter how hard things get, NEVER give up💪🏻
Bursting with so much pride seeing this today 🥺💙⚽️
@HerGameToo
@Coventry_City
Looking forward to our dedicated HGT game against Luton in just over a week

As we wake up ready for a day at Wembley, another dream of mine has come true. I had the chance to write for today’s Mirror Football pullout, a full byline and picture. This is my heart on my sleeve as a Coventry City fan.
For you - all my grandparents who are no longer here 🩵
Really disappointed at Kevin Keegan's comments on women having their say on men's football.
I wouldn't call myself a pundit, but I do work in men's football and here's my say on it 👇🏼
🚨Personal news klaxon!
After being on loan to
@InYourArea_UK
for the past two months, I can now announce the move will be made permanent as their new Audience Editor.
So excited for a new challenge🙌🏻💃🏻
Sometimes I don’t feel like I do enough. Especially recently where I’ve felt so worthless.
I’m so grateful for my
@HerGameToo
gang for always showing me the light. Thank you for giving me this ✨
“But I come back stronger than a ’90s trend.”
I’m over the moon to say I’m coming back stronger from redundancy and as of next week I’ll be starting at
@Tyla
as Senior Social Editor ✨
Can’t wait to get started and join a brilliantly empowered team 🔥
I’m very grateful tonight to have been able to call my manager to say I’m struggling.
There’s a lot in my head, I thought I could deal with it but turns out I need some support with that.
This is your reminder too to please ask for help when needed.
It’s time to put myself first.
Sick of people slagging off others for putting up their Christmas decorations early.
2020 is a year of pure shite, let’s face it. It’s a year where everyone’s personal circumstances are different and couldve lost loved ones.
How about just let people be and cheer themselves up🤷🏼♀️
Let’s not forget it has already come home thanks to the
@Lionesses
this year. It just won’t be coming home *again*.
So many young players, it’s a bright future for England - both men’s and women’s teams ✨
Good luck to
@jodsjones
and
@Shipperz26
who leave our club with the most respect and love I’ve seen in a long time from fans.
Both a credit to any club you join, and thank you for everything💙

🗣 On Mark Robins...
"What he has done is remarkable, if you stay as manager at a football club as long as he did, it speaks for itself.
"Coventry might not be the biggest name in this division, but they are a top team and deserve to be in the mix for play-offs."
Met the absolutely lovely
@beewestwood
today at the Cov game. I’ve always admired Bianca and she is one of the reasons I’ve persisted with sports journalism.
Thank you for chatting Bianca, felt so inspired and motivated to carry on after talking to you 💪🏻⚽️

First day of annual leave and wake up to find I’ve been on the tele box in the Midlands😂
An incredible week, and so overwhelmed and thankful for the support

My last home game, and I am so proud of this season. It’s not over yet but these lads have put their heart and soul into this club💙
It’s the season I became the
@HerGameToo
ambassador and I could not hold more pride.
My club. My Sky Blues
@Coventry_City

Soccer Saturday won’t be the same without you
@beewestwood
.
You’re the woman who has always inspired me to keep going for my sports journalism dream.
Good luck with your next chapter, you’ll be amazing ✨
Anxiety is sky rocketing and almost didn’t make it out of bed for my train, but one foot in front of the other kinda day and I’ll be in the CBS under that blue sky in no time 🩵
Absolute opposite. Knew the lockdown was coming but to have it confirmed sent my breathing wild, a tight chest and anxious shakes.
It’s a scary time but im receiving some lovely messages and know they will get me through🧡
A devastating amount of talented journalists lost their jobs this week.
They will be missed by their colleagues who became friends and an industry which supports one another.
I hope new adventures await very soon.
“A quarter of the new Season Ticket holders are female.”
Absolutely brilliant to see so many women buying season tickets.
There can be so much negativity around sexism, but while it isn’t non-existent, it shows how brilliant it is to support this club and how inclusive it is 🩵
for any female having the same dreams - never stop. There are people to support you, raise you up and help you.
I still won’t give up, and want to continue working in sports journalism. No sexist or misogynistic personalities will stop me - and they shouldn’t stop you.
5/5
Here we go then. First day as
@RWomensFootball
social media producer ⚽️
It is the most exciting time for women’s football and I’m so proud to be part of the charge going forward 💪🏻
The amount of abuse we, as journalists, get is beyond belief.
We're doing our job, and we're humans too. Some of the comments towards
@TheSimonGilbert
have been a disgrace. As a former colleague, I have nothing but respect for him.
Home after another incredible (but long) day covering the Lionesses - today was extra special.
I always dreamt of being in the press box, but thought it would be for Cov.
Today, dreams came true being in the box for England.
Work hard and you will be rewarded 🙏🏻
I could sit here for hours at
@CruiseLpool
and admire how beautiful
@pandocruises
Britannia is.
My happy place is by the water, even better if there’s a cruise ship in🥰😍
The amount of women commenting on
@Coventry_City
’s Facebook who are so damn happy with women’s sizing being available for our new kit makes my heart so bloody full🥹🩵
Well done Cov 👏🏻
After two stints of being a workie and then nearly four years as a full time reporter, my time at Cov Tel/CoventryLive is over. One of the best teams around🤗
But now, onto my next adventure. A fresh start and new little life. Liverpool, I am coming for you!
Recovery.
Something I didn’t think was possible for years. Let alone during lockdown.
But here I am. 13 counselling sessions later and i’ve been set free.
It’s a weird thing to hear your counsellor say you have good mental health. But it happened.
Yesterday I went on a walk round the block, no headphones and no purpose. Just to walk.
Today, I spent two hours off my phone after work for some downtime.
For some, this is a daily habit, but for it’s huge. Anxiety tends to get in the way but tonight, I feel more relaxed☺️
One of the most powerful front pages I’ve seen.
I adore this city, it’s become my home and I’ve been welcomed with open arms - because that’s the type of place it is.
Not the place for these cowardly people hiding just for their mates. Tell the truth, for Olivia and her family.
Today was my last day as social media editor for Reach’s national titles.
I have met some of the most wonderful people, made friends for life and learned so much.
It will be a weekend off for me before the next chapter on Monday ✨
Time to take the plunge and go on an adventure on my own! The crappiest six months of my life, but toasting myself to recovery, and a fresh start🥂🍹💃🏻☀️🧳🌍
Very strange having pretty much an all Blues line-up for EFL coverage in the studio. Would’ve been good to have all neutral or at least one of the two from Cov point of view.
Really enjoyed that show tonight, tough to talk about the boys but I feel you have to call it as you see it. Loads of positive things going on around
@BCFC
atm but we can’t hide from the fact we have a tough couple of weeks ahead. Ride it out together tho 💪🏾👊🏾
Our
@DailyMirror
‘Come on Lionesses’ souvenir guide for the Women’s World Cup is out in the wild 🦁😍
The team worked so hard on this and so much love has gone into the writing.
Please do go out and get yourself a copy because I’m not just biased when I say it’s amazing 👌🏻
Oh talkSPORT, not good at all.
The racism has been blatant- and with one easy look at the club’s socials and statements
@talkSPORT
would’ve seen this.
Not the time to be flippant and attempt at wit with your socials.
Beth Mead has passed her SPOTY award onto Mary Earps.
The third successive woman to win the accolade. Women’s sport is changing, and is being recognised. Things are changing.
I could not be more excited for the coming months and years to see where women’s sport goes next🔥
As press, we work so closely with
@OFFICIALWMAS
and know how quickly a job can change.
So much love and respect for these paramedics and emergency services❤️
Can we take a moment to appreciate the brilliant (and clever) timing of
@Coventry_City
shirt release with the 60th birthday of
@CovCathedral
⚽️🎉🥰
I’m guessing this was not a coincidence 😏
At the beginning of this year, I hit a slump. Like most people the third lockdown hit me mentally.
I felt so alone and didn’t know my worth.
Today, I’ve been discharged from therapy and I’m so proud of myself🥰
Sunday dinner at
@WreckfishBistro
next week to celebrate myself🙌🏻
Happy 1st birthday
@HerGameToo
⚽️🙌🏻
What a venue to celebrate in yesterday, it looked incredible 🤩
Brilliant to see so many ambassadors in one room, and to also be there with
@beckyshortland
who has made it so easy and amazing to be Cov’s ambassador 💙
Congrats
#HerGameToo
🔥
17million people had their TV switched on to women’s football last night.
How many little girls are in those households who now believe they can achieve 😭🥹🏴
❗️This did not happen at Coventry City.
However, it still happened and it is a disgrace. It proves the point of why we work so hard at
@HerGameToo
but at the same time so infuriating that us women are made to feel attacked.
It really must stop, and we’ll just work harder.
