@Nick_Marseil To be fair BG brought an old style of gameplay back from years ago. RDR2 is basically the same GTA format that has been used since GTA3 and Elden Ring is just a reskinned Dark Souls game. So those games are still part of the "used to be" technically. They just look much better.

@JWTCosplay CGI should be used to enhance something rather than be an escape imo. CGI is easier and cheaper nowadays but you can't beat good practical effects. As an example, look at most horror movies from the 80 and compare them to now. 80s was horrifying to the core.
