Your decks color identities should be public knowledge in Lorcana. I’ll advocate for that over n over It gives less advantage to going first & actually promotes a more skill based format where both players get to optimize the mulligan mechanic from the very start.

Something I’ll give immense credit to the designers of Lorcana for is just how easy it is to jump into a tournament match and follow along. So many other card games I try to casually watch some competitive play and it’s so anti-noob friendly that I turn it off.

Personally, when I go completely undefeated for 5-6 rounds straight. I’m ID’ing and getting my mental break before top cut. It’s like saying top seed shouldn’t be able to choose to go first cuz you should be able to win without going first. The opportunity was earned.

Since coming back to my beloved 🔴🟣, I’ve yet to lose a mirror match. The current version clicks naturally to my playstyle. I 100% believe Be King & Tremaine are unecessary cards that actually lose you the mirror match more often than not. Get rid of those uninkables !

So I’ve been continuing to play this broom mill deck and optimizing it - I love low to the ground but I could see a Jafar version as well. I built this list to either be midrange or full mill. 5 drop broom is INSANE. 6 drop Yzma also ends up being great removal ;)

Across all the locals I’ve participated in so far for set 4 - I’m sitting at a 82.76% match winrate using 🔴🔵 (24-5) 88.24% round winrate (15-2) Feel pretty good going into Set Champs 💪🏽

@SpecialKLove97 I think the mulligan and inking mechanic allows you to essentially sideboard within the deck you’ve already built. Changing how you mulligan across games is that natural change - but with open identities you negate the player on the draw from being even more left behind.

I’m honestly impressed by the Amber/Emerald decks ability. Any Emerald deck that can hold its own without needing Bucky are the ones we should keep our eyes on. 🟡🟢 seems like a deck that will only get stronger as sets progress
