Why have the Kopites almost completely stopped bringing their scarves to the games recently? The ground should be full of club colours. Not wearing a scarf or a Liverpool shirt doesn't make anyone less 'cool' while it could help bringing the legendary atmosphere back to Anfield.

John Barnes became a Red on this day 36 years ago. What an iconic signing! He scored over 100 goals for #LFC and made more than 400 appearances. The fans loved him, the defenders hated him. In the late 80's he was the most unstoppable force in the league!

The man deserves a statue outside Anfield. Jurgen Norbert Klopp made Liverpool win championship titles in England, Europe and the world after taking a job at a pretty average side. A deep sleeping giant woke up and became the greatest team once again. Thank you Jurgen.

Bob Paisley was appointed #LFC manager on 26 July 1974. It was one of the best decisions in the history of our club! 6 league titles, 3 European Cups, 3 League Cups, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and 5 Charity Shields. This man knew everything about winning silverware! #LFChistory_net

King Kenny arrives at Anfield! On this day in 1977, Kenny Dalglish became a Red. #LFC paid Celtic £440,000 and bought arguably the most important player in club's history. We call him the King for a reason afterall! #LFChistory_net

Over 300 soldiers lost their life during the Battle of Spion Kop in South Africa. The battle took place 119 years ago - on 24 January 1900. That event should never be forgotten by Liverpool fans and community.

15 April is always the day when we are short of words to describe it all. 97 innocent people lost their lives because they followed the football team they loved. 35 years on and that still hurts...

Surely the image from a memorable evening. Just says so much about the character of this man. Oxlade-Chamberlain spoke like a captain from the moment he arrived, so impressive. @Alex_OxChambo .

It's been 4 years to the day since Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool FC. He signed a deal on 8 October 2015. He has led #LFC on 221 occasions since then, winning 130 games. 58.82% is a higher win percentage than Dalglish (2 spells combined), Paisley and Shankly had. The Normal One.

Ray Kennedy is 67 years old today. Ray excelled in 393 matches for #LFC , scoring 72. "His best point has to be his timing. A perfectly timed run, ghosting in from the left, losing his marker. I’d put in the simplest of balls and bang! One nil." - Jimmy Case.
