Being divorced with 2 kids has given me a certain freedom that's is quite interesting. I have no family pressure to get married or have kids. I have no in laws so I only go to my family stuff if I want to. The only person I'm trying to prove things to is me.

Had what I thought were Covid symptoms so I just followed protocol. Natting, isolating, zumbaning etc. I started to get worse. Throwing up and sweating through my clothes and feeling cold. Turns out I had malaria. Get tested . Was so fixated on Covivi forgot there is other ish.

When I got divorced a hundred years ago my family didn't quite know what to do with me. Didn't have any divorced "ELDERS" to walk me through the way they do when you get married. A LOT of unsolicited "go back" advice. The support system is EVERYTHING. That ish is hard!

An hr before i took this pic my daughter had a meltdown when she tried to climb and was scared. She cried for 30 mins so i suggested we go home but she refused. Sat quietly for another 30 mins then told me she wanted to try again. Determination at 9 that i barely had in my 20s.

I love living with my Dad. He's just the most chilled housemate and a complete sweetheart. He's made a huge effort to understand adult me and all my $/!# . It's been awesome getting to hang with him as an adult. Having drinks and working on the farm. It's been a blessing.

Going kumusha and getting to spend time ALONE with my Grandma Birdie was the best way to end the year. It's rare to actually get to have her all to myself cos of all her kids and grandkids. We worked kumunda tiri 2 while she spoke about life, love and God. My heart is full.

Our helper is one of the main reasons I've been more productive last few months. Not having to clean and do laundry has really allowed me to get stuff done even when I have very little energy. I just have to focus on my hustle. She is a gift!
