Seems like people have forgotten that appeal to authority is a logical fallacy. A speaker's credentials MAY lend some credibility (assuming the integrity of any conferring institution) but they don't establish the truth/soundness of a claim. The claim itself must be assessed.

@holly_char_ IDK. Sure you'll find SOME who fit that bill. But most GC tend to appreciate gender-nonconformance from what I've seen. The crux of the "critical" part of GC is NOT a dislike for "males wearing makeup" but a rejection of the claim that wearing makeup makes you "female."

THIS is by far the most universally understood fact that's nonetheless taboo. EVERYONE claiming males can be women KNOWS it's false. EVERYONE.

Why can't you do that without telling others to "stop talking"? Is your point so weak it can't withstand counterargument?
