Client preferences and exposure matter.
Cost wise, hidden roofs/flat topped houses are cheaper than pitched roofs.
The challenges are heat in the house only if the house is given small windows and doors or poorly ventilated.
What i can assure you, you who prefers having a storied structure for your home however small it might be..make sure to have a double volume lounge (that spans to 2nd floor). there in, you will have the actual feel if your moneys if set up designed right. cooking

Because blocks are bigger than bricks in sizes, you spend little time building an area compared to when you're using bricks, saving you on labour. Also plaster is abit to do when you're using blocks.

These roofs tend to have water issues mainly because of workmanship.
1. It is important to leave a big overlap in between the ironsheets incase of back flow
2. It is also important to water proof the surface of the wall onto which the water hits as it flows down.
