Unfortunately, It’s time. She’s got so wobbly over the last few days. Appointment for euthanasia on Tuesday. Degenerative myelopathy. Nothing to be done. She’s had 8 months since diagnosed but I still feel robbed and of course I’m heartbroken. Casey. Best dog in the world. 1/2

I saw a young fox cub two weeks ago on my way to work, it had been hit by a car and was dragging itself along on its front legs. I called a wildlife rescue, followed until they got there and picked it up. I was so upset. Today, the rescue phoned me, & that little fox has made it

I suppose my point is this: taking on a rescue pet is not the easy option, and it’s not going to be cheap: lack of history, ( no clue where Daisy was for the first 4+ years of her life) but they reward you with love and trust. They take time. And dedicated work.

My kid didn’t do very well in her GCSE’s. She refused to resit or go to college. She got a temp job with a bank. Now 20+ years on, she’s head of anti fraud/anti money laundering with a huge bank earning about 3 times my BSc has afforded me. Let your kids follow their own path.
