No, my church wasn't a cult. We had rules for how we dressed, what we drank, women's jewelry, what we could learn on our own. Financial contributions were mandatory and any who leave are vilified. Men held all the power and withheld it from others. Definitely wasn't a cult.

🎗️Today we celebrated our daughter being 3 years cancer free!!! She was diagnosed with Leukemia the week after she turned 4, did 2 1/2 years of grueling chemo, had 25+ surgeries, and took her last dose of poison, on this day, 3 years ago. My heart is full.🥹

I wanna add that I thinks it's super weird the mormons are so mad at this entire concept. The church spends a kajillion dollars on ads in NY Times Square. Why wouldn't the church also tap into a proven marketing stream like influencers?

When Mediocre Mormon Men on this app say, "you seem really angry/bitter" what they're really showcasing is a lifetime of them being around women not allowed to speak freely. Mormon women must smile, be pleasant, endure to the end, never complain, never state an opposing opinion.
