Stop "confessing" to people who are in a closed relationship/you know aren't interested. "I know I don't have a chance with you but I just need to get this off my chest" It's incredibly selfish & manipulative. You put guilt onto a person who shouldn't feel guilty.

Hey if a character is fat? Dont fucking draw then skinny. Too many of my friends have fat sonas and get a commission back where theyve been changed to being skinny Even when brought up theyre met with "sorry! Thats just my style" Thats not an excuse.

I hear that people who commission art are too afraid of being rude to ask for changes during the sketch phase For me personally I feel a HUGE sense of relief when the sketch isnt 100% approved right away and adjustments need to be made Lets me know the client is being honest

🚫IF YOU OWN A CAT🛇 Lily plants (mainly their POLLEN) are fatal to cats. Even just breathing it in. Do NOT keep them in your house for Easter or any other day. If given to you either politely decline or rehome the plant before you bring it home. We see too many die from it

People are complaining that the endorsement system in overwatch is bad because its making people be "fake nice". Listen smarty pants I'd rather someone obviously pretending to be nice for rewards in a game than someone screaming slurs at me, telling me to die, and being toxic.

Normalize saving up for an art commission Not every artist is in your immediate price range and that's okay. Sometimes putting a little away each month is worth it to get a piece you really want.

If you're not getting any bites in your commissions it's not because they're overpriced It's likely actually due to you having not gained a grounded audience yet Getting your name out there can be tough but art should not cost less than minimum wage an hour

If you're considering an animal now is a good time to do so. The shelters become flooded with "unwanted gifts" that people were too foolish to NOT GIVE. Because pets are NOT toys. Please, if you cant adopt take some time to volunteer or donate money/food to your shelter.

Just to clarify in case of confusion This is NOT mean situations that are healthy. You can absolutely tell someone you love them or have feelings if you know it won't hurt anyone. But if you know they don't want to be part of that you're not entitled to their attention.

I cant stress enough how vital it is to have a support network of people who are positive & wholesome (while also able to correct when youre wrong) The path to growth is paved by many not just yourself. You cant heal alone and you certainly cant when being torn down by others

A month is not a long time to wait for a commission. It should be expected that a custom drawn piece of art takes at least 4 weeks. If an artist does faster that's great! On the other end 2 years is not normal especially with zero updates or wips.
