Only two years ago I ordered my first drum machine and synth. I had no idea at all how to make music. I had no idea that DAWs existed. I just felt a huge need to create and for the first time in my life in had a bit of money and the time to be creative. The rest is... the future.

I think there is a growing movement in the underground music scene. And that listeners in gen Y and Z have had enough of polished autotuned same sounding nonsense pop. I think diversity of sound is coming back. People are craving for meaning in music again.

This is my dad. He is the most naturally gifted musician I know. He is also a classically trained violinist and founder of the folk rock band I sometimes play bass in. His love for all music has, I guess you could say, influenced mine. I was brought up saturated in music.

If you're an artist using AI to help you compose music you are not an artist at all. Only people with either no skill of their own or no ideas uses AI for this purpose. How fucking dare you pretend to be an artist if you rely on these inhuman tools to make music.

Electronic music haters can get expletive ridden. If it's a wav... it's electronic. Pickups are electronic. Microphones are electronic. Speakers are electronic. Amplifiers and fx pedals are electronic. The only music that isnt is live and unplugged acoustic music.
