Let’s not forget that Proud Boys originated in Canada. In Ottawa in fact. And McInnis’s first foray into right wing extremism was an article he wrote in 2005 for a white supremacist website. I was one of the targets of that article and got many death threats because of it.

I was sad when Harper lost the UN vote. I’m sad now that we’ve lost it again. This is not about what party is in power. It’s a sign of Canada’s waning role on the world stage and a wake up call for us to do better.

I’ve been here for only 9 minutes and the lineup has already more than doubled behind me. The tent that’s supposed to protect the kids from the elements is full. Now they’re lining up in an open field. @fordnation we need more testing centres.

I am deathly afraid that this occupation will end with a fire caused by unsafe fireworks and tanks of fuel, on a residential street blocked to emergency vehicles. If a fire broke out on Kent street, hundreds of people could get injured or worse.
