Hello Twitter. I think it is time I introduced those of you who have not met them ....To the black and yellow broadbill. They look like a cartoon come to life, and I love them.
Every time I see a convention table, especially in artists alleys. Taken by someone who buy's a cheap filament printer. Takes free or stolen files, only to mass produce this sort of stuff for $10. Drives me insane lmao. I am so sick of seeing these things aaaa!
- Domestic cats are detrimental to, and belong in NO natural environment
- Cats are not some magical animal that -needs- to free roam to be happy. Just like pet dogs.
- Barn cats are ineffective pest control
- If you can not enrich a cat in your own home, a cat is not for you.
Juat gonna make it clear as this is getting more traction than I planned haha. I am not against selling 3D prints (I am a digital sculptor that does just that!) This is very specifically about people selling designs they did not make/sculpt in artists spaces (artist alley/events)
@JensClaessens
"Let us stand up against the people, who's very works we have used without any form of compensation, nor asking. Property that is needed for our toy to work...To save creativity that was never denied us in the first place (because anyone can learn to draw/paint)." In a nutshell
A good example of one of the more real/current issues of AI gen destroying opportunities for real artists in action. These parasites fill up hard to secure convention spaces. Out competing true artists there via sheer volume of stolen work. These people deserve no respect.
Little sketch of the best dinosaur out there (in my humble opinion). The Parasaurolophus! Based him off the Ruddy duck. I will polish up the sketch a little more if I find time soon 💚
@JessiSheron
Not to mention, the belief that you have to even be "great" or a "known name" at all. An old issue. But online media has definitely awoken the beast again. People need to learn that living, and enjoying that life is a gift in itself. Even if not through fame, others will see you.
@barr0wpuff69
@thejupiterdoll_
No. Artists share their work online for you to see for free (which is wonderful.) & to advertise for prospective work. But that is not a automatic pass for anyone to freely use it, ESPECIALLY not for profit, like what AI companies are doing. Our work is our legal property.
I have so much going on, that I completely forgot to post the finished Valentines day artwork! I designed the galli's colouring off the ones I always use in game, I can imagine my boy being a idiot like this. Based on
@theisleofficial
- Belief that a cat needs to roam to be happy is cultural and emotional habit. Bad habits can, and will change in time.
- Pointing out the problematic ownership of outdoor cats is not a personal attack. It is a attempt to educate a world heavily settled in a detrimental habit.
@burgerdrome
I am hugely against subscription software. In a profession where contracts are all over the place, and income not always steady. This business model punishes artists and restricts them from being able to work when most vulnerable. And the cost (before this hike) is disgusting
@ABC
Reason 182636391 of why to keep your cats indoors. It's not just to protect wildlife from them. But to save them from becoming lunch themselves D;
Standard illustration commission for
@AscianW
!
This will be the last artwork I can finish till I return from FurDU which I am about to leave for. More to come next week!
Probably a good time to remind people on here, that just because you see someone you know following a problematic person. Does not mean they agree with their behaviour. Many are not forever online/aware of twitter drama/or may even be watching for other reasons (to be informed.)
Mouse Griffin is DONE! This is a major update to the old resin griffin sculpt I used to sell at Supanova. I am hoping this guy prints nicely, I am super happy with how he turned out!
The death of DA is truly heartbreaking. It was a starting point for many of us. & our community, inspiration & home for a large portion of our creative lives. To see WIX take it, and turn against all of us who made it the success it is today. Is maddening, and depressing to watch
@auxoco
@DiscussingFilm
Because attractiveness and worth as an actor (or most things for that matter) does not suddenly end in your 20's and 30's. You are welcome.
@Latinvixen
Oh yea. Every ren faire/outdoor festival I've been to is overrun as well. You cant escape them haha D; The thing that blows my mind though is people -do- buy them. Cause they are cheap to produce and sell. I saw so many people walking into my stall carrying them.
So sad to hear WOF has been canned. I am SO tired of
@netflix
canning every good animated, or unique (DARK CRYSTAL) show out there. At this point its time to unsubscribe, nothing worth watching anymore that I haven't already seen. Have some WOF art I have drawn.
#SaveWingsofFire
@RobbieSTrevino
I definitely feel Cara needs a premium subscription base some how. But I don't agree with him on that fact it should be $5 a month full stop. It's a common logic I see from many American companies that absolutely ignore that conversion rates are killer for their global userbase.
@jackcalifano
@LizardbethArt
Why do regular (not millionaire) folks keep defending people like Jeff Bezos? They are living a completely different world to you BECAUSE they are profiting off a system to keep you poor and them rich.
I just don't...get it. Your mindset is what helps them avoid fair taxation...
Work lunch sketch. Studies of the best bird out there... ( I draw a LOT of Barn owls in my down time :>). I like to look at a lot of field study photos, and I love the adorable face plate squish they tend to have when being held. Completed in 1 hr :)
Character illustration page for Mathias, where I was asked to design their character Artaeth. A victim of a war, where their bodily scarring and fear of flying formed.
@Variety
Twitter proves how good branding works. Cause despite a billionaires desperate attempts to destroy and replace it with inferiorbranding...everyone still uses "twitter, retweets, and tweets" in common language discussing the platform anyway lol.
@CitrusYeen
Oh yea, I've seen so many this year. I think they assume they can get away with saying they "made" them personally. Because they tweaked the file/filament colour settings to place on their printer, and pulling the supports off lol.
"Made" in my mind, is you sculpted the design.
Studies of Keyfeathers. Pushing the marsupial look. She hops like a Bilby/Roo/Parrot, using the motion to launch into flight! She is a Faery, around the size of a small dove. Her wings have Cicada like windows within the feathers. They molt naturally and grow back when damaged.
Comm of a Rhamp from
@pathoftitans
, in a similar vein to my last goofy drawing I did of one! I was excited to get this one, cause I absolutely love drawing these lil gremlins <3
@Manda_like_wine
@donttrythis
People like this anger me so much. Not exactly the same, but I was once on a full train and there was a man taking up the last two seat spaces left by spreading his legs and looking out the window. After asking him to move over 3 times...I sat down hard on his leg. He wasnt happy
@ojoscafe
God, his predatory movements, and how he rushed to the door made the hair on my neck stand up. Thank goodness you are OK. I hate how we have to worry about this, we shouldnt have to fear just being out alone.
With all my contentions cancelling around me, I need to rely on online sales. Linked below in my thread are art dolls for sale, my commission price list, and my Etsy store that has charms, stickers and post cards. I don't often get online sales, so RT's are SUPER appreciated! <3
@DeviantArt
This is still not a win for artists. Your AI system is still founded on scraped stolen work, much of which does originate from DA, and many other art platforms. You have created a band-aid response to try and placate our concerns.
@RioSculptures
I absolutely agree. I started exactly the same way (Monster clay sculpting + Molding for resin casting.) I now 3D print my Zbrush sculpts too (all pictured), and its always so sad to see those dragons in our handmade spaces :( You would know exactly how much work is involved!
@wickedinsignia
@vetyyr
Their advertising is so telling too. Pretty much saying they want to make our skills more accessible to all, with the click of a button. It's all about using our own lifetimes of learning, and what we have shared against us. To make our skills a easy cheap commodity. It's so sad
Character illustration page for Mathias, where I was asked to design their royal Griffin character :) He is based off the beautiful White bellied sea eagle!
First raw (unsanded) print of the Mouse griffin! A few kinks to iron out for the main batch, but he came out great!
These will be for sale at Brisbane Supanova in November, then online after!
I definately need to do a faery dragon companion piece for this little guy eventually
Bait or not. This is just a more blatant example of the nasty bullying side of the use of AI against living artists. Every time you type a living artists name into your AI you are doing this. Every AI is already trained unethically like this, & is the main reason I can't support.
@HollyConrad
But don't you know. A hand will reach through their screen. Physically force them to select that option. & before they know it, without "real" manly men on screen...They will be mindboggled into thinking they are actually trans! Think of the poor impressionable gamers won't you!?
@GeorgeCrudo
Honestly I kind of enjoy these "glow up" abominations. Cause it really highlights why actual artists will always be needed on projects haha.
@GenelJumalon
Said it before. But this reminds me so much of little kids that hop online save a picture from a artists gallery. Re-post it, and say "I made this." Typing some prompts, to have AI that was made by scraping the work of unwilling artists. Spit out an image...does not make you one
@duborges
You people are so obsessed in this tech, and exploiting people as much as possible. You don't even pause to think if this is even needed. Automation of the arts is not needed, and this particular tech will do nothing but harm the creatives it souced, and those its used against.
I think im gonna do a weekly "fun bird I love" post, since you all enjoyed the last one so much!
Here is one more for this week! Let me introduce you to the Whiskered Treeswift! While both sport extremely dapper stripes. The males have some blushy blush on the cheeks <3
"Outta my way!" Colour version of the Hypsiliphodon and Tenontosaurus pic that I uploaded a while ago :) The designs are based on the new models for the game
@theisleofficial
. With all these wonderful new dino's coming out, the waterhole is gonna get crowded!
I am forced to open for some new commissions weekly to keep paying bills/food. This week I am open for ICONS. Any species, expression ect. You will receive a transparent version, and a textured BG with a colour of your choice. $30 usd. RT's supper appreciated <3
@Nixxez2
@AaronEshey
Nah with how against artists the world is right now. This doesn't taste right. Theres literally millions of examples of free resources online. We live in a wonderful time where artists share free information every day. We should not be stealing from our peers.
Being stuck at home, I decided to draw myself something for Christmas. My old furry character Dirtiran! Drawing her makes me think of times past. And people I miss, as we have all naturally drifted apart to do our own things in life over the years. If you see this, I miss you! 💚
More owlthings while waitingat the airport. The Owlrooms below are designs for a new sculpture I plan to sculpt/sell! I'll make a bunch of different versions
I am currently open for Icon/pfp commissions. $30 usd. If you would like one, please contact me at: Keyfeathers

.com! Happy to draw anything. I just get a lot of dinosaur requests (not complaining!)
These are considered small works, and will be done between my larger comms!
Here is the second tiger head mount, created by Myself! He features flowerery and leafy additions, with plenty of airbrush and paint work to the original base.
Auction to help fund buying a car (to get me home XD) will start tomorrow morning AEST!
The mentality that 3D sculpting is not "Hand Made" always frustrates me no end. I mean what do I sculpt with, my toes?
Or perhaps from gently caressing buttons till the program shits out art ;D
@klarnaseb
Pretty embarrassing way to say with your whole chest that you are now a scummy, unethical and cheap company. Endorsing cheap unethical imagery.
Companies forever racing to the bottom for the sake of money. Challenge = impossible.
My new faery ferrets! The first one has already found his home today, but the second is still available for adoption at Sydney
#Supanova
this weekend! I am at table 155 in artists alley!
While I work on commissions, I thought I'd share a fun side project in the works for Halloween! This is a massive scale version of the dragon doll I was recently sculpting. Will be mounted onto our house with a smoke machine. Massive thanks to
@Racush
who set up the print files
Omg I got my Faery wings done in time! I will be wearing these at my stall, and around the grounds at Mythical markets this Sat! I wrote a little story for the Faery they belong to. Will post with next photos.

If you have an idea and can ask the instant image machine to do it for you. You have creativity. What you actually lack is drive, a will to learn, impatience, & lack of understanding of why using a program that exploits artists is wrong... laziness does not = creative challenge
