@Nobunny333 I was an E-5 with one kid and the wife and I got Food Stamps and WIC as a Navy Nuke from 79-81 when I re-enlisted stretching my 6YO another 2 years so we could have appliances and furniture and a TV. Needed care packages from parents to get by. Not kidding. Jimmy Carter sucked.
