Tips for drawing trendlines. Draw them either wick-to-wick or body-to-body. I have found that mixing the two often leads to invalid trendlines. Always wait for a candle to close outside of your trendline for the best chance of avoiding a fakeout. Wicks can often be deceiving.

EMA’s The only EMA I use is the EMA200. 30/50/100/200 can all work, but I’ve found 200 to be the most effective to use as confluence for a trade. I utilise this on the M15/H1/H4/D1 timeframes. However, I’ve found the H4 EMA200 to be the most effective.
